The service, the room, the valet was all wonderful!!! But someone had a small dog at the hotel (not sure what room) but it was a yappy dog. I was kind enough to not call the front desk. what I did instead was waited until 10:30 to see if they’d come back and if so, I wouldn’t call, if they didn’t show, I was calling. I’m all for pets to come with, but if they are the yappy kind, be polite to other guests. Do better as a pet owner. No shame at all on the hotel.

Parking is always difficult when staying here but the stay is worth the headache. There was construction going on in the building so the noise of that started pretty early and made it impossible to sleep but this will always remain my go to place to stay when coming to Rapid City.

Great place to stay to see downtown Rapid City and good jumping off point for attractions nearby. The Pub in the hotel was excellent and there are many great restaurants in the area such as the Firehouse and Tally's Silver Spoon for breakfast.

There was a huge regional power outage that lasted for several hours the day we checked in. The staff was amazing! Very professional and calm and got everyone to their rooms safely. Room was clean and comfortable.

The room was nice and I loved the blackout windows. The staff is friendly. The vertex bar which advertised itself as open until midnight was closing at 10 so that was a disappointment. I purchased the $40 breakfast option and receive two $15 Starbucks gift cards so ended up losing money on that deal

This hotel is overall beautiful, but it is in need of some significant improvements. Torn/frayed carpets, stained and torn wallpaper, tubs that won't hold water, incredibly noisy heaters, paper-thin walls, and workers doing construction projects during the late afternoon while on speakerphone made this a noisy trip. Finally turned the tv on to drown out the noise....We used to love staying here but will likely find a differnt option moving forward.

There was no window in our room. The fan in the bathroom was so loud. Though the bathroom was nicely updated, there was no counter space in the bathroom. There was only one small mirror in the bathroom not a full length mirror to check your clothing.
