A really nice hotel staff

We got in around 11:00 p.m., the front desk lady was helping someone else but she took the time to look up and let me know that she would be with me, when the phone rang she quickly, took care of that and took care of me. Was very apologetic for making me wait. When she asked what we were in town for and I told her for Mount Rushmore she came out from behind the desk got a map & was like this is where you need to go and while you're there you need to do the thread the needle. It's very awesome. This is the road you would take. She was very helpful. Very polite. The room was was neat and tidy. All the decor matched. It was very quiet. When we came into the hotel from visiting Mount Rushmore. Once again the front desk was asking us how we were doing. They greeted us. They were very cheerful. They were very pleasant. They asked how our stay was. Out of all the hotels that we stayed in during our trip. This was by far the best one. The only negative thing would be that they didn't have any ice but that was because there was an issue with the ice machine and it was being worked on as we were leaving

Nice, but very dirty.

Very nice front desk attendant and owner called us for review. Hair all over sheets (did not appear to have been washed), none of the floors appeared to have been cleaned in quite some time, bathtub had someone elses hair in it and floor was very dirty. Older building, new appliances, needs top notch cleaning crew!

The room was clean and comfortable (especially the bed). They are in the midst of a remodel so the lobby area is pretty sparse, but the rooms are nice and I can tell that they’ve been recently updated. The lady at the front desk was really welcoming. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and the price was great!

On checking in the tv or internet didn't work in our room. We were moved to a different room. We checked in late and the next morning they started remodeling construction at 830am on a Sunday. Woken up to the sound of saws is not a pleasant experience.

The stars do not lie! There is NO breakfast as advertised on the website which is a main reason we book hotels. There was a live roach on the TV stand and old cigarette butts on the floor. They are under new ownership so perhaps they can improve the quality of the hotel. Until then, I would stay away.
