Basic accommodation. Breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing. (Maybe because it was low season? Other reviewers seemed to love it.) Just a 5-minute walk to the beach. Very family friendly. Nice pool area.

Great Service

My sister and I had a great stay at the Great Rayong Hotel. It is located close to a bicycle or scooter rental place if you want to get to Ban Phe ferry terminal. One of the front desk ladies has great English and was able to coordinate a minibus back to Bangkok to pick us up right near the hotel. 5 stars for her hospitality and help! I would come back here because of the location, price, and service.

Love that family room is two separate rooms connecting and the water bottle provided in each room was a plus. The old box analog TV could definitely be upgraded to cable like the other room though

Multi-tasking Receptionist Chris was fantastic - so welcoming, friendly and helpful - as I witnessed when she helped others at check-in as well as myself. She even made me feel good about having to walk up 4 flights as there is no elevator ! Quite a girl !! A credit to her hotel .... but the hotel NEEDS better signage esp in the dark as neither the road or small turning sign is illuminated and taxis etc don’t know it, nor do many locals ...

Great bargain

Great hotel.Staff was very helpful and a free breakfast. The hotel has no elevator yet, but it was under construction during our stay. Nice and quiet location.
