The construction going on was a bit annoying so early in the morning. At night the tv had issues and we couldn’t get most channels. We did call , but no IT personnel were available. The staff were very nice and the restaurants were good.

I had a wonderful stay at J Resort. After making my reservation, I requested a top-floor corner room, and the front desk team did an excellent job accommodating my request. The check-in process was quick and very professional—kudos to the front desk staff. I stayed in the Cedar King Size Suite, which was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. I was traveling with a toddler, so the extra space was a big plus. Overall, the service provided by every team member at J Resort was outstanding, and I truly enjoyed my stay. This is not a complaint, just a personal suggestion regarding the room lighting: I found it a bit dim, and a few additional wall-mounted lights would make the suite feel brighter and even more inviting. No comments on food as I did not enjoyed this time but may be next time.

I had a great stay at J Resort. Check-in was quick and easy, and the hotel itself felt fresh and very clean. The elevators and hallways were bright, well-maintained, and the carpets looked freshly cleaned, which made a great first impression. The room was excellent overall—comfortable and well kept—definitely an 8 out of 10. The only small improvement would be the shower heads; a stronger or detachable option would be more accommodating. The service truly stood out. Anytime we needed something, it was delivered to our room promptly with no long wait. The only minor issue we experienced was with another guest who rudely yelled at us while we were taking a quick group photo in the hallway. It was before 10 p.m., and we had only one brief moment of laughter. While that was unpleasant, it had nothing to do with the hotel itself. The hotel is very quiet, and we slept peacefully each night—the walls seemed thick, and noise was minimal. We brought a group of seven ladies for a prayer retreat and truly enjoyed the calm, peaceful environment. It’s a wonderful place to stay if you’re looking for quiet and relaxation. Overall, we had a lovely experience and look forward to booking with J Resor again.

We did a last minute Reno trip for MLK weekend and J resort had availability for the days we chose from all the hotels we looked at. We stayed in the Birch towers which was close to the main entrance, Hannah’s table and the casino floor. Pros: Clean, modern bathroom that had huge LED mirror. Big decent shower. Overall the room was clean, bed was comfortable, also had a mini fridge to store items. Had most cable channels, MTV, Comedy Central, hbo etc. The room had its own thermostat so we could control the temp in the room. And a decent view from the 9th floor. Cons: We didn’t receive fresh towels in the morning when they asked if we wanted some. Extra door in the room that connects to the room next to us, which we weren’t fond of. Thin layered blanket so bring your own if you get cold easily. Overall we would stay here again if we needed to. It was clean, and comfortable enough for our last minute trip. Check in was easy and so was check out. Would also recommend this hotel if in a budget compared to circus circus and the others near J-resort.

I was disappointed with my stay. When we arrived, there were no clear hotel check-in signs or directions anywhere, which made it very frustrating and time-consuming to find where to check in. The parking lot is far from the check-in area, and even after checking in, we still had to walk a long distance to reach the room. On the way, we had to pass through the casino, which was filled with strong cigarette smoke. The room itself also had a noticeable musty and moldy smell. There was no microwave provided, and the lighting in the room was very dim, making the space feel uncomfortable and inconvenient. Overall, the stay was inconvenient and not user-friendly.

Stayed at the Aspen tower; wow! Great view. Newer hotel tower; plenty of parking and elevators worked well. The room was clean, spacious with a full size fridge, and kitchen area (sink and faucet, microwave). Would definitely stay again! Only downside is the current construction outside BUT they’re making the resort even better!
