Assigned room on 11th floor farthest away from elevator. NO ICE from 11th floor or 12 floor machines. Called front desk who said they would call maintenance. Tried 11th floor machine 30 minutes later - still NO ICE and metal plate fell from top right corner of machine hitting me in the head. Called front desk who sent security who insisted on having paramedics come - waste of time - annoyance for close to an hour and still NO ICE. In the morning, went to take a shower and NO HOT WATER! Maybe you like an ice cold shower, but I certainly don't! Worst of all, the guy at the front desk was not interested when I explained the problems. The correct answer would have been "I'm sorry sir that you experienced these problems and did not enjoy your stay with us. We will be happy to comp your room as a token of our appreciation for your business." Instead the guy was rude, condescending, and obviously does not care about customer satisfaction. DON"T STAY HERE!

Was very noisy at night in hallways and outside while trying to sleep. Nowhere to sit outside and relax except at doorway with smokers

from the minute I walked into the hotel it was smokey and gross. I went to my non-smoking room and it smelled of smoke. I called front desk and they told me they could switch my room. I went back to the lobby, the 2 supervisors were rude and nasty. I got a 2nd room and that smelled worse then the 1st room. There was a fire alarm going off so all patrons were out in the hall, half naked, smoking and cussing! I felt unsafe and left the hotel.

Property is on the budget end of the casino market, but they have improved a few things since my last visit 1-2 years ago, while maintaining reasonable rates. I booked a deluxe queen double and was surprised it had a mini-fridge and a large screen TV (50-inch plus screen) with an actual digital HD signal, unlike prior visits. Other positives were a clean room, nice newer towels, and friendly staff. In-room coffee maker was dusty and dirty inside (cleaned it myself) but the coffee was horrible. Dinner buffet price was higher at $18.99 (weeknight), and while the dining room was rennovated and nice, the food was still about the same, so not the bargain buffet it once was.

I didn’t like how noisy it was and I requested to be at the empress tower but they put us at the dynasty tower. It was smelly, dirty and noisy!!!! We couldn’t even relax nor sleep the whole time we stayed there. Next time we will do ABNB

The hotel is doing updates and renovations but it did not effect our stay. The staff are all super nice and accommodating. The bingo room was fun and easy. Mel’s Diner is an excellent place to eat! Had a blast in Reno and can’t wait to go again!

The size of the tv was nice. Air Conditioner didn’t work well and carpet and ceiling was coming up or coming off. Couldn’t see out the windows. They had film or residue on it.
