Pros: sheets were clean, staff were nice, and beds were comfortable Cons: room smelled funny, the room was dirty and dated (light in bathroom had months of dust on them, corners of the bathroom grew mold, etc), we could easily hear the room upstairs talking through the ceiling, they no longer have a hot tub, everything in the room is very old, it's very clear this hotel is only about making money and not at all about customer satisfaction. I would only recommend staying here is you are on a budget and you can't find anything cheaper. I had stayed here 10 years ago, and the experience was so much bettter

I'm not usually someone who leaves a bad review, but I would have to say the Alpine was subpar. The room smelt musky and the positioning of the AC made it difficult to cool the room down. The t.v was a pain in the behind to operate as the cable box was mounted on the wall below the desk so you had to sit on the edge of the bed to change the channel. The shower curtain was ripped and there was painter's tape on the ceiling in the shower holding a crack together. There also was no hand soap, so we were using what we think was the shampoo or body wash (hard to tell as they were both the same color) from the shower. I recognize that I should have contacted the front desk with my concerns; however, having just drove for 7 hours I needed to sleep more than I needed to complain :-) On the bright side, the bed was super comfortable.

Overall, this was a good hotel for one night. I am giving this rating based on the fact that I didn’t feel it was super clean. The room had an interesting smell and there were spiders above the curtains. I’m also not sure if the air conditioner is cleaned or the last time it was because we woke up very stuffy in the morning. Other than that, this hotel was fine.
