Overlooked by Southwold's famous lighthouse, Shrimpers is a quaint traditional fisherman's cottage in the perfect location just minutes from the beach, famous pier with the colorful beach huts and high street with all the pubs, restaurants and independent shops. This charming fisherman’s cottage offers a perfect retreat for up to four guests, ideal for family and friends (including pets) or a romantic getaway for two, it’s the perfect spot for a seaside holiday or short break.

As you step inside, you are welcomed by a cozy, open-plan living space that is both comfortable and charming. The interior features soft, muted colors, and vintage touches, creating a warm and homely atmosphere. The living area is perfect for winding down after a day by the shore, with a ornamental fireplace and soft furnishings for ultimate relaxation. There are 2 sofas and an armchair as well as a table and chairs, should you wish to dine in.

This leads into the galley style kitchen with an integrated fridge with a small freezer compartment, gas hob with electric oven, Tassimo coffee machine, microwave, kettle and toaster. A door leads out to the courtyard garden which has direct views of the lighthouse.

Further along is the downstairs bathroom with a corner step in shower cubicle, WC, hand basin and roll top bath where you can lay back and relax and look up out of the velux window at the stunning lighthouse.

Being a traditional fisherman's cottage, the stairs slightly wind up to the 2 bedrooms. The bedroom to the front has a king size bed, 2 bedside tables, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers, with fabulous views of the sea and St James's Green.

Bedroom 2 has views of the lighthouse and has twin beds, 1 bedside table and small built in wardrobe.

Outside is a courtyard garden overlooked by the iconic lighthouse. There are tables and chairs, making it the perfect spot to dine al fresco or simply, enjoy a glass of wine and soak up the sun.
