Amazing location, limited parking. Above a live music bar, but did not hear it too loud, but be aware if you're sensitive to sound.

The hotel is really apartments. It was clean and conveniently placed in downtown Reykjavik. However, even though on the third floor, Friday night had absolutely no sleep. The adjoining club was playing music until 6am. Ok if you're out and partying anyway but not if you aren't. Location was great. Bed comfy, had a fridge, Nespresso (which you can use as a kettle), hairdryer and plenty of towels, etc if required. Would have been nice to have more tea/coffee but you can use the Nespresso without pods and will have instant hit water so we just bought our own coffee and milk. If you have a family with young children be wary of the noise at the weekend. There was a bar outside our side and on Thursday night you could hear the chatter but wasn't too bad with the window shut. Key code on the doors is a bit fiddly but secure.

Best location ever. Right in the middle of the main street of the old town surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants. Fantastic 270 degree view from the wrap around balcony, views of the church tower and the see. Well worth paying the extra for

Iliked the room, and found the neighborhood very enjoyable in every way. My one problem was the ramp that joined one part of the building with another. I tripoed late in the evening because there was no warning or lighting of the ramp. I’m 80 and fell up at the ramp - the ramp blended too well with the carpeting. However, 2 hotel guests helped me up very sweetly and I was able to continue my visit.

FANTASTIC
Absolutely fantastic couldn't fault the place, great location, completely spotless, warm and cosy, great views even saw the northern lights from our balcony. Only down side was someone entered our room whilst we were inside using the codes which i guess never change

The hotel is located on the main shopping street. Super convenient. Easy to walk anywhere you want to check out. The room is nice and neat. The deco actually looks better than the photos. I would have given 5 stars if not for the noise we heard on the second (the last) night staying there. The band in the next pub was very loud. And it didn't stop playing until nearly 6 in the morning. Our room seems to be right on top of the pub without much sound proof at all. We didn't sleep well much.

The room was great, the location was great during the day. At night from where our room was located we heard live music & loud partying going on until 2-3 a.m. We were here on the weekend, so maybe it’s quieter during the week? That’s why location got 3 stars.
