Great Location

Lovely villa in an ideal location, walking distance to the village with a number of restaurants, supermarket, bakery and grocers. Bit of a longer walk to the beach with its crystal clear water, no crowds and more restaurants. Ideal for rest and relaxation but also easy to visit the sites in Lindos by taxi or bus, get there early as it does get crowded. We will be back!

Schöner Blick aufs Meer

Wir haben ein Haus wie beschrieben vorgefunden. Leider war es etwas abgewohnter als die Fotos erwarten ließen. Vermutlich wurden die WĂ€nde vor unserer Ankunft frisch gestrichen, was sehr schön war, weil es so sicherlich viel sauberer ausschaute. Leider waren ĂŒberall auf dem Boden Farbkleckse zu sehen. Der Boden war zudem gar nicht gewischt worden, was uns gerade mit zwei kleineren Kindern negativ auffiel und auch in Anbetracht der vorherigen Bewertungen anders erwarten ließ. Die Badezimmer waren allerdings sauber. Die Betten waren schön sauber und frisch bezogen. Auch kam jemand nach einer Woche um unsere Betten frisch zu beziehen und uns einen neuen Satz HandtĂŒcher zu bringen. Schade war, dass wir circa eine Stunde vorher erst informiert wurden. Die Couch wurde mit einem Laken versehen, weil sie offensichtlich verdreckt war. Da wir eh viel draußen saßen, störte uns das nicht.Die Lage ist klasse, da man schnell im sĂŒĂŸen Ort Gennadi mit vielen tollen Einkehrmöglichkeiten ist und innerhalb von 10Min. runter zum Meer laufen kann. Aufgrund der NĂ€he zum Ort mit dem vielfĂ€ltigen musikalischen Angebot einzelner Tavernen, hĂ€tten wir abends schön auf dem Balkon sitzen und der Musik lauschend auf das Meer schauen können, leider kamen zu viele MĂŒcken, die uns das madig machten. Der Pool ist schön groß und wirklich ein tolles Plus bei dem Haus. RegelmĂ€ĂŸig kam auch ein freundlicher und zurĂŒckhaltender Poolreiniger, der seine Arbeit augenscheinlich zĂŒgig und sorgfĂ€ltig erledigte.

Wunderschöne Villa

Ruhige und doch zentrale Lage der Villa. Viel Platz. Wir haben meistens im Freien auf der ĂŒberdachten Terrasse mit Meerblick gegessen. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert einwandfrei. Einziges Manko ist die etwas spĂ€rlich ausgestattete KĂŒche. FĂŒr einen Rhodosurlaub kĂ€me keine andere Wohnung mehr in Frage.

Fabulous villa for a relaxing holiday

The villa had everything we needed for a family of 5. It was well-presented and we especially appreciated the groceries left for us on arrival. The kitchen was well equipped, although we ate dinner in the wonderful selection of nearby restaurants (5 minutes walk). The children loved the pool.

Es ist alles fĂŒr einen schönen Urlaub vorhanden. Die GeschĂ€fte sind fußlĂ€ufig zu erreichen. Mietwagen ist trotzdem von Vorteil. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen wieder.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Der Pool war etwas kĂŒhl, aber das Meer herrlich. Top auch das Restaurantangebot im Ort und eine 5 Sterne .-BĂ€ckerei! WĂŒnsche/ Tipps: passende MĂŒllbeutel, ein paar SpĂŒlmaschinentubs und etwas Waschmittel zur VerfĂŒgung stellen.... Poolservice und Betreuerin sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Dankeschön!

Lovely villa

The villa was sparkling clean when we arrived and the pool looked gorgeous. The villa had the amenties you could need and the tooms were spacious. Gennadi is a 5/10 minute walk away with some lovely tarvernas and bars, as well as an excellent bakery and supermarket. The beach is maybe 15 mintues walk away. Unfortunately we only stayed in the villa 6 nights out of the 14 due to the fires; it was unsafe and unclean to return to with ash everywhere and no water. Such a shame we couldnt but safety first. Beautiful views from the villa as well.

Schöne Villa fĂŒr einen entspannten Urlaub

Rhodes is very hot in August

so the pool was a real blessing. The pool is a good size and design, but suffers from having confiers close by whose debris ends up in the pool when it is breezy. The villa is nicely proportioned and comfortably furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning cooled the bedroom quickly and efficiently. There was a good range of equipment in the kitchen. The bathrooms were clean and the showers sufficiently powerful. The off road parking space was appreciated. We had problems getting to grips with the entertainment centre, but that's probably because we aren't used to kit like that. Overall, we are very happy with our stay.

Wunderschöne Villa! Erholung pur

Es war ein wahnsinnig schöner Urlaub. Das Haus und die Ausstattung sind super schön und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefĂŒhlt. Alles war sauber und super gepflegt. Nur 3 Gehminuten zum Dorfzentrum mit tollen Restaurants. Der Strand ist auch nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Haus entfernt. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefĂŒhlt und kommen definitiv wieder.

Spacious, peaceful, clean villa

Lovely spacious and clean villa. Would easily accommodate 4 (2 great bed rooms), 3 bathrooms - all with showers. Good air con and facilities in kitchen (micro, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine). You are quite far south so need a car to get around as there is not much that is local in Gennadi (but that’s great if you like peace and quiet)! Pool is cleaned regularly and there are also lots of cats around.

Villa Loka is a great place to stay and exactly as the photos show it to be. The local shops are nearby and all you need (and include a great bakery and bar) and the beach is a 10 minute stroll. We really loved our 10 days in this villa and happily recommended it.

Die Villa ist bezaubernd mit einer wundervollen Lage. Wir sind sehr spĂ€t angereist und haben sogar im KĂŒhlschrank eine "Erstversorgung" , wie Wein, Milch, Saft, KĂ€se, Schinken und Brot vorgefunden. Alles frisch und kostenlos vom Vermieter bereitgestellt. Werden wir abermals nach Rhodos fliegen, werden wir dort wieder wohnen :) Vielen Dank

Tolle Villa, super ausgestattet

Wir waren im Mai 2019 fĂŒr zwei Wochen zu viert in der Villa zu Gast, unsere Erwartungen (durch die positiven Bewertungen hier) wurden voll erfĂŒllt. Der Kontakt zur Agentur war unkompliziert, die Ansprechpartnerin Nikki jederzeit erreichbar. Der Pool wurde regelmĂ€ĂŸig gereinigt, und nach einer Woche wurden die Betten frisch bezogen und die WĂ€sche gewechselt. FĂŒrs nĂ€chste Jahr haben wir diese Villa wieder gebucht und freuen uns jetzt schon darauf!

Mooi huis met fijne tuin en zwembad

Aankomst was zeer goed, we kwamen eerder bij het huis en konden er vroeger in, welkomstpakket werd later afgeleverd en dat was fantastisch, alles wat je de eerste dagen nodig hebt. Huis is zeer mooi, met 3 badkamers. Zwembad was fijn, water was wel aan de koude kant. Wij hadden helaas de pech dat er bij werkzaamheden in het dorp een waterleiding was geraakt en hadden daardoor anderhalve dag geen water, en de volgende nacht was er een stroomstoring geweest waardoor bewegingsmelders in slaapkamers bij beweging lichtflitsen gaven waar we wakker van werden. De afstand naar het dorp en supermarkt en redelijk veel restaurants is klein, we hadden geen auto gehuurd (transfer geregeld door Lindos Destiny) dus alles lopend gedaan, omdat het huis op een heuvel ligt betekende dat wel steeds heuvel op lopen terug naar het huis, en met name terug vanaf het strand was dat best een eindje, vooral met de hitte. Maar het is te doen. We hebben erg genoten van onze week daar.

Tranquil and charming space perfect for relaxing

Set slightly above the village of Gennardi, Villa Loka is pristinely presented. With plenty of space for the 3 of us, especially outside - which we made the most of - in good weather, there was little to complain about. Slight niggles included a couple of missing light bulbs and no bin liners, but these are small things and easily corrected. I would also put in a plea for slightly bigger glassware - both tumblers and for wine! However, the view from the upstairs balconies are lovely and the barbecue was well-used! Gennardi itself has everything you need in terms of shopping and a couple of reasonable restaurants - so we didn't need to venture far. We had a fabulous time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My daughter didn't want to come home!
