They need to buy new mattresses i felt like i was in a ditch and my back hurt so bad from it and the pillows were all flat. And the door slamming in the morning couldn't sleep in if you wanted to.we stayed here previously a few years back and it was nice dont know maybe they changed ownership? The pool looks dirty also.

The room was not ready at 3. They carried my sheets to room in hand while smoking/vaping in other. Cob webs by bathroom, sticky floors. Very very noisy til 10:30 when we finally called the front desk. We said the kids were screaming running past our room and making all the dogs bark. The kids were pounding on the doors and scared the crap out of us by pounding on our door and window. We called the front desk and told the women who replied”yeah I know”. I think one of the kids was hers making the noise. Didn’t sleep all night wondering if the teenagers would break in, or damage our car. Do not stay here if traveling with a dog. Rooms were unacceptable and we felt like a second class citizen. Will never ever stay here again. We left at 5:30am. Another person left that night. Awful night.

I can't speak for the main hotel, but the pet friendly motel rooms are separate. The floor was noticeably gritty with dirt. One bed was full of dirt and pet hair once turned down. There was garbage on the bathroom floor. And the minifridge still had a half eaten frozen pizza in it! Despite the garbage being emptied and the beds being made, the room had definitely NOT been cleaned! We had come from out of state so it was a very late check-in. The guy working the desk was either new or half asleep and struggled to figure out which room was ours. If it weren't for the afternoon staff being friendly and helpful when I called to notify them of our late arrival and for the morning staff looking horrified when I brought them the pizza and explained what our room had looked like, I would give this place negative stars. Even being apologetic, no one offered any sort of comp for what we had to stay in. Gross!

This property was an okay stay in Rice Lake, but I don't think I would stay there again. The staff's kid was allowed to swim unsupervised and under age for the posted rules, yet he was tattling to staff that we had food by the pool that was sealed, and we were not eating, and we were asked to remove it. It would have been nice if you enforced all the rules, not just some of them. Also, it was very loud because there were no soft-close or bumpers on the doors, so it sounded like people were slamming doors all night.

Great check in as we were early. Which let us get to the graduation on time. I would call the hotel directly and not go to Expedia again. to much confusion in making the reservation and have to change the reservation from two days to one due to DRs appointments on Monday.

The staff is lovely. Service with a smile. The room was clean .. mostly. The shower curtain needed washed. The toilets are “shorties” so definitely not for handicapped or older guests.The beds are comfortable enough but need a sheet overhaul .. old. Breakfast was just horrid. Cheap pastries and a single filthy waffle maker. Coffee was available with communally used sweeteners and coffee mate powder. Just yuk!! Guests have children crawling on the counter where “food” was stuck everywhere. And honestly take down the sign telling your guests not to take extra treats with them. You don’t provide decent breakfast or coffee experience with a $140 price point. Just poor. A sold 4 stars from this guest.

Friendly Staff! Decent room.

We stayed one night and this was one of the only hotel options available (graduation weekend). The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the hot tub (which was actually hot!). We only had 2 negatives: -The breakfast was a disappointment - they had waffles, two cold cereals, oatmeal packets, yogurt and hard boiled eggs. They had some fruit and prepackaged items from Walmart. The orange juice wasn’t actually orange juice, it tasted like Sunny-D. Thankfully, Starbucks is just down the road. -The carpet in the closet area was soggy/wet. I’m assuming someone had a swimsuit hanging there and it dripped, leaving a puddle.
