Stony Thwaite is in Reeth the heart of the Swaledale, close to the amenities such as pubs, cafes, Post Office and store.
Getting there
By road: Take the A1 as far as Scotch Corner, turn off to Richmond and take A6108, then B6270 to Reeth. At the top of Reeth turn right between the Buck Hotel and public toilets signposted Langthwaite and Barnard Castle. Follow the road for 100 metres and you will see a right turn Hill Close. Stony Thwaite is directly opposite the entrance to Hill Close. By Public Transport: The nearest train station is Darlington. You will then need to get a taxi to Reeth.
Accessibility
The property is not wheelchair accessible. There is a standard staircase to the first floor with a sturdy handrail. The shower is a cubicle with a step to enter the shower.
I really good find. Dogs Welcome. Spotlessly clean. warm, super comfy beds, lovely bedding. Well equipped. Great walks right on the doorstep and a lovely little village. Would highly recommend to all. Hope to be able to return in the near future.
