Gee Tatt, Muin and Osman were excellent hosts. They were welcoming, friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed interacting with the orang asli that lived in the area. Muin demonstrated to us how they used blowpipes and traps to hunt. It was a very enlightening and educational experience. Coming from a very hectic and stressful city environment, the soothing sounds of the waterfall and nature really helped to refresh us. We enjoyed the different varieties of breakfast every morning. They brought in different types of local food for us to try. On the first morning it was Roti Canai, followed by curry puffs and kueh. And finally Nasi Lemak. All were delicious. As the location of the inn is not near any outside eating places, we chose to order the native dinner each night. We enjoyed the grilled chicken and fish. The portions were very generous too. The highlight of the stay for us was definitely the waterfall and stream. Taking a dip in the cool and clean waters was such a unique experience. The room itself was comfortable and cooling. There are multiple power points in the room, which we appreciated. We opted to pay more to get the room with the attached bathroom, for convenience. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Nature lovers will really appreciate this place.

This is a wonderful experience of being in a rainforest. The room was basic and clean as was the shared bathroom- clean and basic. The dining area is next to a waterfall and there is a lovely swimming area. It is quite a distance from Ringlet. The owners will pick you up. It is best for those with cars.

Our visit was an opportunity to stop and enjoy the beauty of the natural environment. Our hosts were very welcoming and the dinner and breakfast, eaten with the back drop of a waterfall, were delicious.

For me, the experience staying here was worth so much more than the small cost per night. I stayed three nights and was able to tour Cameron highlands and spend time with the family working at the property. I took a hike through the jungle, cooked over a fire, and saw the local neighnoring village. I came here looking for a different experience than what the hotels had to offer, and what I found was a peaceful oasis of nature and traditional livelihood in a modernizing agricultural region. Hosts and staff were very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend. Thanks

An authentic experience
This was such a great stay. It is off the beaten path and on the edges of the jungle. We had an authentic experience and our home for two nights was a bamboo hut complete with mosquito netting and sounds of nature. Meals were traditional meals and served in a communal atmosphere. We were able to meet other travelers, share stories and adventures. As an added bonus staff at the Rain Forest Inn arranged for a private jungle trek complete with a guide. This was such a fantastic experience. We were in the heart of the jungle and even discovered that some bamboo contain water that is potable! The jungle trek was difficult, but if you are in moderate shape it should be no problem. It was about 4 hours in trekking time (not including lunch and rest breaks). The first half of the hike is uphill, which makes the return quite nice!. if you are looking for an authentic experience, i recommend this place. They also show you how to shoot a blow gun and set traps!
