Just What I Needed

I had a layover to catch the ferry the next day. The room was clean, the owner responsive and the location was great - next to a great restaurant with the best tacos I’ve ever had and an unbelievable view!

Would of been nice to know which unit in a 4 unit building we had, found out 6 hrs to late. No hot water, wrong internet and password provided. Worst experience ever.

This listing was a major disappointment. Where to begin. The AC was not oprational and, even if it was, there were 2 TV remotes ( but only 1 TV) and no AC remote. The ceiling fan was also non-operational. The only available means of cooling was a battered floor fan so unstable it had to be leaned against a dresser to stay upright. There were no bedside table lights. The toilet paper has no dispenser and is merely a roll left on the back of the toilet. Not, in and of itself, a crisis but is reflective of the overall state of the property. No coffee for the coffee maker and there is nowhere to purchase any coffee for the machine at Las Palmas. No verified purified water. There was a glass jar with water in it by the coffee maker. Purification status undetermined. As for communication the "gain entry" instructions were all in spanish. This is fine and initially understandable BUT if booking via a website where all information and description are in english it is not unreasonable to expect entry directions in english. Used the "contact host" tool and requested, if possible, an english translation. NO response. Google Translate to the rescue. The major point here is that the host did not respond until after 7pm inquiring if entry was gained. Would not recommend.

More than one night would be to much

The property manager tried really hard to resolve our issue but we were really looking forward to a nice cool room and a warm/ hot shower after travelling all day. This was a stop over so we could take the ferry the next day to Utila. Unfortunately upon arrival the room was boiling hot and took 3 hrs to cool it down . There was a problem with the shower and there was no hot water and it could not be resolved. The bed was also extremely firm but I know some people like that -it just wasn’t for us. On a positive side: the pool was beautiful and the location was fantastic. Great food at the restaurant

la playa y albercas son lo maximo de la propiedad.pero no hay caja de seguridad para tus cosas personales. El Restaurant no tenia servicio al publico por la razon que tenian un evento privado. La habitacion necesita un mapa de la Isla y los lugares cercanos de comer,

Simple and clean

We stayed for only one night on our way to Utila. The location is nearby to the airport and the ferry. The pool and beach area is nice. Very clean and tidy room. I would note that it is really not walkable to anything and the restaurant maintains hours only according to the Cruise Ship excursions- we spent almost as much money as the room on taxis around the island. If we were staying longer it would be crucial to have your own vehicle.
