Overall this was an ok stay. The staff were all nice and welcoming. The food and drinks were decent, nothing extravagant. The hotel itself was average at best. The room was small for two. It was clean but just not well kept. There were fixtures missing that were once on the wall, and the shower faucet was broken. The TV had bad service, and there was only one English Channel, the rest were in Spanish. The pools had missing tile pieces which didn’t look good. The beach, sand and water, was very clean and the towels, chairs, and umbrellas were always available. A lot of workers on the beach, offering jewelry, shirts, hair braiding, excursions and more. The area outside of the hotel was very sad. Felt like it is very poor living on the island. The drive from the airport was about 30 mins and it was very eye opening driving around. The airport was also very small and no AC on the arrival side, but there was on the departure side. The hotel did have transportation to and from which was free, and well set up. Overall again it was an OK stay, not a place I would go again though for the price or one I’d recommend if you are looking for something more then a basic all inclusive trip.

Beautiful property on a beach that is breathtaking. The staff was outstanding and the room, though a bit older, were very clean and comfortable. The tiled roof and Terracotta buildings have a mediterranean charm with a beautiful pool flowing through the middle.

They have a very good attention to the customers, all the employees are very nice and always asking you if you need any help or if they can bring you anything, the food is excellent, the two restaurants have a lot of good dishes to choose, beverage all you can drink that’s a big plus, the hotel area and the front of the beach are all clean, they have security, all the people selling local stuff are not allowed to come where the customers are but they ask you to come where they are if you wanna buy something, the rooms are clean, but they had some issues, the refrigerator didn’t properly work in our room, reported it, the supervisor in charge of this department transferred us to a better room. We move but the door facing the front of the beach was broken we reported it. They said they were gonna fix it. They never did and then we went home when our time came other than that we enjoyed the stay at this hotel. It is good. 👍

The beach front villas were comfortable and the service was excellent. The buffet food is delicious, but some parts of the buffet is not covered, therefore, exposed to a lot of flies. Mario, the HR representative, is great and very accessible to handle any questions.

Although the property was immaculate and beautiful, the Front desk people were rude, not helpful when i asked for advice about the meetup spot for the snorkeling charter that i was late for. They kept talking about hotel rules knowing i was late and even after i asked could i come back later to go over that stuff. They didnt know what the rate was to add another guest to my reservation since i had accidentally left off my 9 year old daughter which took another 10 minutes to figure out. (Knowing i was late for my prepaid snorkeling tour) The website says all of the activities were included and i still had to pay anyway. I couldn't get any compassion or reimbursement after my flight was delayed by 24 hours. I let the hotel know several hours before check in time asking if there was any possibility for my reservation to be adjusted to reflect the new dates and the reply was that i’d still be charged the whole nights fee as a penalty. My flight was cancelled, I missed a night, and was being charged additional fees for adding my 9 year old daughter. It was offered the “day pass” where she would have access to the beach but not the pool or the food. Like i said, beautiful property. Gorgeous and clean. But God forbid, you accidentally dont include your child in the reservation, or your flight gets cancelled by no fault of your own, or you want to do any of the “inclusive@ activities without paying extra.

The resort’s location is one of its strongest points, with stunning views. Whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation, the location really delivers on both fronts. Unfortunately, the property itself is in need of some updates. The aging decor and some maintenance issues hold it back. It didn’t necessarily impact my overall stay, but I was expecting a bit more considering the price point. For the most part, the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, there were a few individuals who could benefit from some additional customer service training. A couple of interactions felt a bit impersonal or rushed, which was disappointing. One area that definitely needs improvement is the dining options. There aren’t many choices when it comes to restaurants, and the reservation process is confusing. It’s hard to figure out how to book a table, and when you do manage to get one, the food doesn’t always live up to expectations. More variety and a smoother reservation system would make a huge difference.

It was a perfect paradise and only a 3 hour flight from Dallas. The beach was perfect. It had great air conditioning, hot water, a fridge in each room, free Wifi. The hotel was stunning, attentive and quiet. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and clear water steps from our room. We will be back!

Good reviews: Well-kept property. Staff excellent. Air-conditioning efficient and quiet. Some things disappointing: The one-bedroom studio does not have a separate bedroom - the description is misleading. No coffee pot; no face cloths; no hair dryer. These have to be requested from reception. One small piece of soap in the bathroom, plus small packets of shampoo and conditioner combined. Other resorts have plenty of these available in the rooms, with the shampoo and conditioner in separate containers. Annoying things: No bedside alarm clock; no plug for the bathroom sink (the water just flows out); no suitcase stand in the closet. Some things to know: The two major restaurants are good but you have to go to reception to make reservations and they must be made before 2pm on the same day, and you cannot reserve for future days. One trivial thing is that they do not provide steak knives with a steak meal - you have to request them! The lounge chairs on the beach do not have umbrellas set out ready, but all you need to do is ask the attendants to put one up for you. They provide two full-size towels but the towel exchange places close at 4pm each day, so be aware of that.
