Great hotel and Dive shop
Pros:Friendly staff, great dive shop and QUIET area away from the downtown strip.
Cons:Room safes in every room??
Location:Diving with the on site dive shop and snorkeling off the beach side of the hotel.
Just finished a week of diving in Roatan, stayed at the Seagrape Plantation......this is an excellent place, I just stumbled on it here on Travelocity and was very impressed with the rooms and the very helpful and friendly staff. It is a family owned operation, both the hotel and dive shop, and everyone goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. I stayed in one of the regular rooms and they are basic but well kept and comfortable, and the air conditioning works well.....they also have large overhead room fans and the hot water was always there. I was happy the main office had a safe where I could store my valuables during the day while I was diving.
The Dive shop was a really excellent facility, places to store my gear and great boats, dive masters and boat Captains.....I can't say enough good things about the dive operation, it was really superb.
I would recommend the Seagrape to anyone and hope to return in a few months.
