The space
The annex has two bedrooms: master with double bed, another with two single beds. There is a kitchen with an under counter fridge (no freezer), washing machine, cooking stove and oven, also dining area, living room and bathroom with shower. Apart from toiletries and washing up detergent, bed linen and towels, as well as kitchen basics such as oil, pepper and salt, a starter supply of necessities, from toilet rolls to laundry detergent, is provided.

We welcome a quiet, well-behaved dog at no extra charge. Only one furry friend allowed (sorry, no cats). Please keep your dog on a lead within the property boundaries. Please note that non-guests are not permitted on the property.

To the rear of the annex is a decked area with outdoor furniture that is shared with the home owners. For the location of the annex within our property, please see image provided on property layout.

Our property
We are conveniently located off the A21, and just 10-15 minutes’ walk to Robertsbridge village, which offers shops, a cafĂ© and bakery, pubs, restaurant, pharmacy, post office, vet, overground train station and bus stops.

Sightseeing in 1066 Country:
We recommend driving if you wish to conveniently enjoy the various attractions of 1066 Country High Weald AONB. E.g. Battle Abbey, Bodiam Castle, Pashley Manor Gardens, Darwell Wood, Scotney Castle and Carr Taylor Vineyard are within 15 minutes’ drive or less. While Rye, Hastings, Camber Sands beach, Chapel Down Vinery and Herstmonceux Castle are approximately 30 minutes’ drive away.

TV has Amazon FireTV/Prime Video subscription and apps like ITVx and Netflix. There is a small DVD collection and DVD player. WiFi is available.

Please mind appropriate noise levels and be respectful of other guests, residents and our animal friends. Please have your dog on a lead within the property boundaries.

Lovely place to stay

Deceptively spacious. Very clean and tastfully decorated. Kitted out with everything we needed for our few days. Beautiful views over hillside fields and woodlands. Our dog appreciated the paddock to explore. Our hosts were very friendly, as were their 2 dogs. Shivaun very kindly posted an item back to me that I accidently left behind. We would definitely recommend.

Beautiful and welcoming

A lovely place to stay. Very clean, well organised and beautifully decorated with the nicest view of the horses out the front. The hosts were very welcoming and kind. We would definitely stay here again.

HĂŒbsche Ferienwohnung mit allem, was man braucht

Wir haben den Aufenthalt und die Umgebung sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und wir konnten auch Fragen loswerden. Die Bahnstation ist fußlĂ€ufig zu erreichen, was wir auch genutzt haben. Robertsbidgeist ein schönes Örtchen. Robertsbridge

Great vacation in Browns Farmhouse

The cottage offers enough space for 4 people. It is neat, clean and nicely furnished. The only thing missing was a large pot for cooking. Otherwise, the kitchen has everything you need, although there is no dishwasher. The farm is great and thanks to Fran we were able to say hello to the horses. We felt very comfortable and had a very good time.

A calming get-away

The location was perfect, a short drive away from Battle and Hastings, day trips were effortless. The annex was spacious and really well equipped. The farm shop is a 2 minute walk away, and had everything we needed. Fran even kindly introduced her stable of horse to our baby, which made her day!
