Charming 15th-Century Family Cottage in Loire Vineyards with Park, Terrace, and Leisure Facilities

Experience the gentle pace of Angers in this charming Guimonière estate. This large family cottage is located in Rochefort-sur-Loire, 30 minutes from Angers and 5 km from the Loire River. You will be staying in an outbuilding of the château, a 15th-century family property, in the heart of the vineyards. Completely restored in the local style, this cottage combines comfort and charm with a cozy and refined interior.

On the ground floor: a 35m² living room with a dining area, a lounge with a fireplace, television, and home theater system, a 16m² kitchen, a separate toilet with a washbasin, and a 20m² Orangery Lounge with its large windows overlooking the park. This living room can be converted into a bedroom for 2 people with a 140x190cm sofa bed for groups of 10.

A bedroom with a private bathroom is also located on the ground floor (shower, toilet, and sink). Upstairs: a first bedroom with a 180x200cm bed (or two 90cm beds) and a 120x190cm bed. A second bedroom with a 160x200cm bed (or two 80cm beds) and an alcove separated by a screen with a 140x190cm bed. The bathroom is located on the landing. There is a separate toilet.

Outside, a lovely terrace with garden furniture and a private garden overlooking the woods are reserved for your use. You will find a relaxation area, deck chairs, a barbecue, and a swing. Also enjoy the 3-hectare park with its three-hundred-year-old trees, the woods, the groves, the arbor, and the gazebo overlooking the vineyard. Recreational facilities are available: a soccer field, ping-pong table, slide, swing, badminton net, and trampoline.

Direct access to marked hiking and mountain biking trails. The Loire à Vélo cycle route is located 7 km away. A secure area will be available for bicycle storage.

The ground floor has one step to access the bedroom and two steps to go down to the orange grove.

After the Hameau du Breuil, Château de la Guimonière is the first property on your left, immediately after the sign for Guimonière. If you pass the TV antenna, turn around; you've gone too far! - From Nantes: Take the A11 motorway, exit 19 for Chalonnes/Loire, then in Chalonnes, take the direction of Saint Aubin de Luigné (D54), then head towards Beaulieu/Layon. Pass the TV antenna on your left. Château de la Guimonière is the first property on your right, immediately after the sign for Guimonière.
