We have been working on giving this adorable house a bit of a facelift so it is just coming back on the market. We are also working on the fencing so while dog friendly, the house is not currently completely fenced. Message us for an update on our ETA.

This cute and cozy house in Rockaway Beach welcomes you to escape to the coast and enjoy the laid-back style. The house is just minutes walk to shops/restaurants in downtown and access to miles of beautiful beach. Lots to do within 15-20 minutes drive from Tillamook to Manzanita!

This home is full of cozy touches, and the single-level layout makes getting around easy for all. Amenities like WiFi and TV (Charter) are available for entertainment. New electric fireplace provides a great evening ambiance.

There's a pool table in the garage, which has been converted to an entertainment space for those days the weather just isn't cooperating. You can open the garage door for light/fresh air on those nice days.

Sit on the updated private back deck for your morning coffee or evening cocktail while firing up the gas Grill.

The house is dog friendly for dogs that are house friendly. Up to two pups for the per-night pet fee.

Renovated in 2019 and lots of work in 2025, this cute house has new floors, modern appliances including dishwasher, and new granite tile countertops. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need (pots, pans, utensils, etc.) as well as a toaster, coffee maker and filters, blender, mixer and slow cooker - making home cooking a snap.

This two-bedroom, one-bathroom home has room for five guests with a queen bed in the master bedroom, Twin over Full bunk beds in the private room off the converted garage, as well as a single and full futon in the garage/entertainment space. A washer and dryer makes laundry a snap. Lots of parking in the driveway.

We live in Rockaway and spend a lot of time crabbing and fishing during the Summer/Fall, so who knows you might just get fresh crab delivered out of the blue. We are happy to recommend activities, fishing charters, etc. in the area.

Close to lots of beach towns and activities for day trips. Some examples:
Netarts - 32 minutes
Tillamook - 23 minutes
Bay City - 15 minutes
Garibaldi - 10 minutes
Wheeler - 13 minutes
Nehalem - 16 minutes
Manzanita - 20 minutes
Cannon Beach - 38 minutes

Lots of outdoor activities within 15 minutes including crabbing, fishing, clamming, tide pooling, beach activities, and hiking.

Take a trip to the Tillamook Cheese factory, Nehalem Winery, Barview Jetty, view the Terrible Tilly lighthouse, or hike the Neah-Kah-Nie trail. Take a trip on the Oregon Scenic Railroad or see the area from a different perspective on the Rail Riders. That's just a few of the many things to do within about 20 minutes from Rockaway Beach.

Peaceful Retreat

This is a wonderful little beach getaway. We celebrated Father's Day here and had the best time. The property is exactly as described and just an overall great place for family time.

Great cottage walking distance to the beach

This cottage was perfect for a long weekend visit to the coast. We loved having the deck and the yard for sitting outside, and being able to walk straight to the beach. Owners were communicative and are taking COVID-19 guidance seriously, place was very clean.

Holiday weekend

The location was right in the heart of Rockaway which was amazing for the 4th of July. We were able to watch the fireworks from the driveway. Perfect location for the festivities. House could use a deep clean for spider webs etc but overall was a great last minute stay.

A return engagement

This is my second time here so I knew what to expect. On both occasions, I enjoyed a personal quilting retreat because of the ping pong table in the garage. I hope to make this an annual event. With Jane’s Fabric Patch in Tillamook as an added bonus it was everything I enjoyed.

Great stay!

This was a great little house…super clean and just as advertised. I have absolutely zero complaints. The kitchen was not as well supplied as some VRBO’s but I was prepared because everything was properly listed in the description. Overall it was a wonderful vacation in a property that I would have no reservations booking in the future. Thanks.

Cute, older home

We had a really nice time at this home. It was in a great location and walkable to restaurants and such. It is an older home and needs a little bit of work, but sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee early in the morning really makes up for anything you may feel the home is lacking. The weather was perfect! It does appear that some things are being done to the house to make it more inviting. The ping pong table was a big hit, and my son and I had so much fun trying to beat each other. You will love it. The garage door has some rusting and open areas at the bottom and at first glance may be off putting to some, but it didn’t really bother us. The owners are more than willing to listen to the renter and truly want to make this the best home ever. They were very quick to respond to anything. Please consider booking here. Your stay will be peaceful and worth it!

Confortable stay in Rockaway Beach

Pleasant, well-equipped house 5 blocks from the beach made for a comfortable and convenient week-long stay. We enjoyed coffee on the back deck, fires in the wood stove, and the easy walk to the beach. Plantings around the house make it feel very private and secluded. Second bedroom is a chilly walk through the unheated garage/rec room in October, but the bedroom itself is cozy and well-heated. Upper bunk in that bedroom is likely better suited to a child than an adult. Recommend the Beach Bakery and the Old Oregon Smokehouse for food in town, and there is a big-ish supermarket 4 miles up 101 in Manzanita. The house location is wonderful for exploring the northern Orgeon coast, and Rockaway Beach and the house are also lovely for just relaxing and enjoying.

Nice property in a quiet location in town. Well furnished and met our needs quite well for our family beach retreat. Yard and landscaping very overgrown but does add to the privacy factor.

Nice getaway with the grandkids

We had a nice time staying at this home at Rockaway Beach. We were able to walk to the playground, ice cream shop and beach - all the important places for the grandkids! The house was comfortable and fun for us all! There were only a couple very minor things that we noticed and probably couldn’t have been helped - the walls are very thin or not very well insulated. So nap time for the little one was hard, since she could hear everything that was going on elsewhere in the house. And the metal bunk bed is super squeaky. An “active night time sleepers” would make noise with every toss and turn. Anyway, we had an overall great time and would definitely return next summer! The owners were very friendly and accommodating!

Cozy place with great location

Stayed here for three nights with several friends + their dog. Overall, we thought that this was a cozy little beach getaway with close access to the beach and other local areas. With that said, there were a couple of items that we thought could use some improvement: - There was a hole in the bedsheet. Bedding did not not feel clean. - Stains and mildew smell from the towels. Generally not pleasant or clean :( - We were greeted by a trashcan full of trash outside upon arrival. At one point, a neighbor stopped by to complain to us about the trash situation. Very uncomfortable. - I messaged the host about the trash situation, and they responded a day later about a different stove issue that they had fixed, which was not something I brought up or even noticed. Very strange. Additional improvements, of slightly less importance: - the mattress on the bunk beds aren't comfortable. Two of us had back pain after sleeping there. - The electric situation is odd: the switch on the wall controls both night light and the ceiling light - very inconvenient. - The space needs a chair or two or a luggage rack for guests to put stuff on. We had to get a chair from the living room, but still have to leave our bag and clothes on the floor. - The door to the yard can't be latched properly. Please fix the door or provide guests door stoppers. - No lid to pots. We had to use another frying pan to cover the pots. - Would be nice to have a water kettle. Despite the items above, we still had a great time. In particular, we really enjoyed the following: - Again, the location is unbeatable! - The house is very spacious and homey. - The yard is lovely for outdoor dining/hanging out, although that grill could use some cleaning and a drip tray. - The bathroom and kitchen are nice. - TV has many functions that allows us to watch shows and movies. - The pingpong table in the garage is really fun!

Cozy home within walking distance to the beach and shopping.

Very nice home with with great amenities. Beautiful flowers to greet as you enter the home. Clean and comfortable inside. Fun to play ping pong and enjoy a bbq on the back deck. Would recommend staying at this home for anyone visiting the area.

Gem on the coast

Great escape from the city. The yard is very secluded despite being in a neighborhood. Walking distance to beach and can hear waves break from the deck. Great hosts and will return again.

Finally a place to rest

Close to everything! Our family enjoyed getting to know Rockaway beach. We visited with family and thoroughly enjoyed our time. A great place for a mom to take a nap!! Kids stayed busy, weather was exactly perfect. Thank you for offering a great family home to just get away.
