Welcome to Serenity Cottage, located in Rockaway Beach! This lovely two-bedroom, one bath home can comfortably accommodate up to six guests. You can even bring your favorite furry friend with you. We're sure they'll get a kick out of running on the beach with you!

Step inside, and you'll find yourself in an extended entryway stocked with various items for lots of beach fun. Entering through the laundry area and kitchen to the cozy living room, with plenty of seating for all your friends and family. Set the mood with a faux fireplace for cozy nights inside and ambiance. There is also a queen sofa sleeper available in the living room. The kitchen is just off the living room, making it easy to prepare a meal while catching up with your loved ones. A small dining room table offers room for six, with a second table in the living room with extra seating, and plenty of couch space.

The kitchen has everything you need to whip up a quick and easy meal for your loved ones, including an oven with a stove-top, a refrigerator, and a microwave. Note that this home does not offer a dishwasher. When entering the kitchen, take a right into the first bedroom, complete with a queen-size bed. The Jack and Jill style bathroom can be entered from this room or through the hallway, leading to the other bedroom. The bathroom offers a walk-in shower. There is also a laundry room at Serenity Cottage, so feel free to pack light for your stay.

The second bedroom comes complete with two queen-size beds, perfect for any of the children in your party, as the room comes complete with a TV, games, Wii, and more, along with plenty of pillows to lounge on while hanging around the house. A completely covered patio area perfect for lounging outside any time.

You'll have incredibly close access to the beach from Serenity Cottage, and to many restaurants and shops that Rockaway Beach offers! You'll also be about an hour's drive from Seaside, to the north, or just 25 minutes away from Tillamook to the south.

When you walk in for the first time, there is a strong ammonia smell that hits you immediately. Old sewage pipes under the house broken? We opened some windows to air it out. We couldn’t get the k cup machine to work to make coffee, bought some ground and used the drip. The bed in the room next to the bathroom was quite uncomfortable. Not up to par with other rentals.

Such a cute cottage

This is our second stay here love the location and the house and yard. Would be nice to have a bbq and some of the kitchen utensils could be replaced or upgraded. Also some mold in the bedroom and bathroom wndow sills. The new outdoor couch was awesome and we love the Kurig!!! Our lab Cash loved relaxing and hanging out in the yard!! The beach is less than a block away and so is town its a great spot. Maybe fix the lock on the barhroom door also.

A rough finish, cute decor but cluttered, dark and kind of depressing. Tripping hazards between rooms with as much as 3 inches difference in floor levels in doorways. I have 2 hip replacements and was constantly afraid I’d fall. No porch lights. Bed was uncomfortable and woke up in pain. I paid as much as I would for an ocean front motel room. I felt claustrophobic and left a day early. I wouldn’t stay again.

Overall it was pretty good, did have a strong musty smell we had to leave windows open, a few things could be changed or updated but for the most part good.. wasp nest under covered patio by a pole up high. Coffee pot leaks
 great location. Had a fun weekend.

Lovely stay

We stayed here for a long weekend. The house was very cute, had everything we needed and wonderful beach access and was also close to shops in ton. The size was perfect for me, my sister and our daughters. The beach supplies had everything we needed. We also brought our two small dogs and it felt like plenty of room. My only complaint is the bed in the adult room was really uncomfortable like so much so that it made my hips ache every night (I'm only 38). I think once they invest in more comfortable mattresses it is pretty much the perfect getaway.

Lovely, peaceful setting and home

It started a little "rocky" because we were told we had to check in late (at 6:00 PM instead of 4:00), however we were given a $50.00 credit to compensate for the inconvenience. This home was comfortable, and quiet, just as we had hoped. It is a few blocks from the beach on a hill in a natural setting with large trees, ferns and foxglove blooming. The one bedroom and full bath downstairs and two bedrooms with full bath upstairs worked perfectly for us, our son and daughter-in-law and five year old granddaughter.

Nice beds, cute decoration, nice supply in the kitchen for cooking. Short walk to the beach, quite at night, love the train when it went by.

This property has a serious mold problem. Do not stay here and if you have already booked, try to get out of it.

Not recommended

The property had a terrible mold smell, wasn’t very clean and the shower drain didn’t work. The bed was very uncomfortable and we ended up sleeping on the sofas. This property shouldn’t be listed. It’s unhealthy because of the mold that has permeated throughout the house. I wouldn’t recommended this place at all and I never write reviews. Please find another place to stay on your vacation. We actually left a day early because of the home conditions.

Great small family cottage.

Great location, close to shops and beach. Well laid out, good space in back for kids that is quiet. Kitchen very well stocked with dishes cookware and tools. Lots of little surprises around the place: movies, games, beach toys etc.. Prop mgmt was easy to reach and responsive. We had a wonderful week at Serinity Cottage and hope to be back next year!

Extremely dirty

When we arrived the code we received was not correct so had to call to get correct code. Once inside the house we noticed dirty floors with numerous patches of animal hair on the rugs and along the baseboards. When we opened the frig there was moldy raspberries. We found a garbage can full of dirty diapers in the 2nd bedroom and in the main bedroom we found a used Kleenex in the bed when we turned down the sheets. Since it was after the office had closed we could not notify anyone immediately. We called the office the next morning as soon as they opened and reported the issues. Kelsey was very helpful and was able to relocate us to a clean condo.

Great Rockaway beach getaway

This was a perfect little beach cottage for a Rockaway beach getaway. Comfy house. Convenient access to the beach for evening bonfires and beautiful sunsets. We had a great stay.

Wonderful stay but...

We enjoyed our stay, but based on the pictures we were disappointed. From the pics the house looks much more modern than the rustic cottage we found ourselves in. We expected to be overlooking the water, an important aspect for my disabled husband. The beach was close by, but not accessible for him. As a result he was left out of watcing us on the beach and the sunset over the water.

A memorable stay

We were very comfortable in the cottage which is only a short walk to the beach. The tourist train passes by 3-4 times a day on the weekend. A good place for family reunions.
