Underwhelmed

Arrived and the location is nice. However, hotel is run down and dingy. Floors were sandy and not very vacuumed. No coffee available in room. Very loud if you have a downstairs room. We were told that pool and hot tub were open until 9:30. We got there at 8:30 and were told it was closed and that we had to leave. Bed was uncomfortable. Walkable to beach, that was a plus. Parking wasn’t verified so someone else took our spot. Just felt like some communication and amenities were needed.

The property has a very nice location, steps from the beach. Our room was clean and had what we needed. The room is pretty outdated with old furniture and peeling wallpaper. It looks like many rooms there have been updated, the one I stayed in had not yet. Also of mention is that the pool and hot tub close at 830 pm Saturday through Thursday and open until 930 on Friday only. I thought this was very early to close especially on a Saturday night.

This property is in need of updating and I was a little concerned after seeing some very negative reviews. If esthetics and ambiance are your thing this place is not for you. I’m happy to say I was pleasantly surprised. Overall the restart is awesome, clean, right on the beach with fabulous views. We stayed in a family suite and there was plenty of room for us. The kitchen was a huge bonus too! The pool, hot tub and sauna were clean and so much fun for the kids. It was half the price of most other hotels on the coast that have less room and amenities. I will absolutely stay there again.

5 Stars – Perfect Little Beach Getaway This hotel may not be the most modern or fancy, but it completely won our hearts with its charm and unbeatable location. The decor is a little outdated, but it added to the cozy, beach-town feel. Everything was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The absolute best part? It’s just steps away from the beach—you can hear the ocean from your room. We loved waking up to the sound of waves and being able to walk to the beach in seconds. One of the most magical parts of our stay was sitting out on the balcony at night. The sky was so clear, and we could see the stars perfectly—it was breathtaking. Stargazing with the sound of the ocean in the background was something we’ll never forget. It was a peaceful and pleasant stay, and even with the older decor, it felt like a hidden gem. We’ll definitely be back!
