Clean and quiet. No wifi or tv but it's got all the basics I needed after a whole day of hiking like working hot shower, fully equipped kitchen and comfy beds. The proximity to North Cascades trail is what made it great place to stay IMHO. Karen is a great host!

Excellent accommodation
Don't be deceived by your prejudices. This trailer has a fully equipped kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, stove and oven. It is air conditioned. The beds are new, the shower works, it was a great location for hiking the western slope of the North Cascades.

Wonderful Stay
Had a pleasant stay at Karen's place and will certainly return for more visits. Kitchen was great and plenty of privacy both inside and outside the home. Liked the location, very close to Mt Baker and lake Shannon. It was also very clean on the inside and had a nice storage space on the porch for ebikes.

Good location for exploring North Cascades National Park
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful part of the country. Karen was a great host-very friendly and helpful. The trailer is older and small, but has everything needed to recoup after a day of hiking. We left early each morning and returned in the evenings so we did not spend much time at the trailer during the day. We were thankful for the small AC unit in the main area as it warmed up during the days we visited. Proximity to the areas trails are the biggest selling points of this property.

Not fancy but sufficient for a comfortable stay. A little damp first but found the AC to be helpful. Very convenient location for hiking in N cascade!

We loved it!
Good rate for a clean, warm and conveniently located trailer in Rockport. It had the amenities we needed and was located in a spectacular corner of wilderness near the North Cascades. The turkeys kept us very entertained and Karen was super friendly, helpful, welcoming and had a lot of great suggestions. The River walk along the Skagit river by the property offered some amazing views and wildlife sightings too! Would stay again!

I was aware this was not a 5 star place prior to staying but picked it due to the location to hike. If all you need is a. bed to sleep in, this is your place, The beds were great and the kitchen had everything needed but shop before you arrive, no store in town. The owner was wonderful and it was enchanting living on a little turkey farm for 3 nights. I would return but know what to expect.

Cascade Getaway For The Win!
We had a great time escaping the city to this Cascade Getaway. The host Karen was a great communicator and so nice. We had a chat before we headed out for a day of hiking and she gave us some great tips for exploring the area. The trail connected to the property alone was worth the stay with breathtaking mountain and river views. Rockport State Park is a beautiful old growth forest with really fun trails nearby, about 5 min drive. The trailer was a modest, neat, colorful, and lovingly decorated space. Everything you need to cook in the kitchen. There is a cafe/bar within walking distance. Would recommend and would stay here again!
