I had a reservation for May 6th paid in full. I called the hotel to add another night to my stay. They said it would not be a problem over the phone. I arrived at the hotel and was told that I needed to call Expedia to pay for the additional night. I called Expedia and my call was disconnected 4 times. Ultimately the hotel told me that I had to pay them for the night I had already paid for and the additional night and then dispute the charge with Expedia. I was almost 3 hours from home without a hotel to sleep in. I would think that the hotel could just have had me pay for the additional night at the site. Expedia didn’t help me either.
Shower curtain would not stay closed. Curtain rod was drooping. Flush mechanism in toilet came detached. Smoke alarm in lobby kept beeping. No bed bug bags on mattress.
Room was clean and satisfactory and the breakfast was excellent. Room was at the end of hall and noisy near stairway. A/C was lacking control and had very low flow for cooling, and the room keys never worked. Felt sorry for the staff as she had to come up and let us in every time during our stay (several other customers were complaining of the same keys issue).
The stay was okay. TV kept shutting off. Could hardly use it because of its difficulty. Wouldn't come to give us towels later in the evening and they didn't clean up our room because we stayed 2 nights so our garbage was not taken out of the room. We couldn't have gone down to pick up our own towels and brought down the dirty ones. We could also bring our garbage down to for them to take care of. Was pretty disappointed overall. My bed wasn't even tucked in like hotel room bed's usually have them.
Our room was very clean an accessible.
The only mirror was the one over the sink.
The breakfast was good.
There is always coffee available and a microwave.
Wasn’t told that breakfast ended at 9:30, got there an 9:15 and everything was empty and the waffle mix was brown liquid. Couldn’t find a breakfast attendant to ask for anything. Room was clean and front desk was very friendly at check in.
