Weekend Lake Trip with Pup

We had a great stay! There’s lots of dog friendly things to do and Beaver lake was gorgeous. The house was the perfect size and we really enjoyed sitting out on the back porch. We hope to visit again soon!

This place met or exceeded each of our expectations. While the house is close to the road and a little on the older side, the back porch is pretty secluded and the house was so cute. It was equipped with everything to make coffee, complementary bags of popcorn (no tv for movie night, but still nice to eat and curl up on the couch or sit on the back deck), and it just felt like cozy place with just enough room for two people or a small family to stay and have everything you need.

Wonderful Getaway!

My husband and I had a fantastic time at this cute little cabin. It’s the perfect space to relax, and all of the cute details make it fun and cozy. It’s also very close to lots of activities, the lake is within like a five minute or less drive. We went hiking and mountain biking at Hobbs. It was super quick to get there, about 10 minutes. Being so close to downtown Rogers, you can also head over there for a bite to eat, or you can cook at the cabin, as it has everything you need.

The property is very cute and the location is excellent. However, the cabin smells like cigarette smoke. It was not advertised s as being a smoker friendly place and with an infant it causes me great concern. We only stayed 2 nights and we will have to re-wash all of our clothes because the smoke smell.

It was alright but no dogs allowed

The main reason I selected this place was because it states that “dogs” are allowed. This is not true, a dog is allowed. I have two tiny dogs under 12 lbs. but only one was allowed to stay with us. I messaged requesting for consideration due to them being small and very well behaved dogs but response was no, only one dog. The place did have a wasp problem which was not fun for a couple of days. Very clean and kinda cute.

The inside of the house is nice, clean, and neat. Cozy back porch area. The loft area would not be comfortable for a tall person, as the bed is close to the sloped ceiling. I didn’t mind, but there is noTV in the house. So, bring your own device if you must have TV. The front of the house is literally the roof. I arrived at night and drove past the house because it is built into the side of the mountain. Only door in/out is the back patio door. Could have better lighting being that you have to walk down stairs on the side of the house to get to the back door.
