Commençons par le positif: l’accueil est impeccable avec contact whatsapp a l’avance, un sentiment de sĂ©curitĂ© que tout est en ordre et la gĂ©nĂ©rositĂ© d’avoir permis Ă  ma fille et son mari de dĂ©poser leurs bagages en attendant pendant le mĂ©nage, considĂ©rant que leur vol atterrissait Ă  9:00 Ă  Rome et qu’ils ont un bĂ©bĂ© de 16 mois. Nous avons beaucoup apprĂ©ciĂ© le geste. Aussi, l’air climatisĂ© fonctionne trĂšs bien et les salles de bain en suite sont pour nous une condition essentielle. Cependant, l’appartement est trĂšs mal divisĂ© avec la minuscule cuisine tout en haut de sorte qu’il faut faire les escaliers pour porter la nourriture de la cuisine Ă  la table, la terrasse n’a qu’une table pour 2 donc, mĂȘme si l’appartement a 4 chambres Ă  coucher, pas de repas en famille sur la terrasse. L’ameublement est industriel, si laid que s’en est dĂ©primant. Il n’y a pas de salon et on sent que l’endroit est conçu pou y entasser le plus de gens possible. Par exemple, Ăą cĂŽtĂ© de la mini-cuisine, il y a un divan lit alors qu’une petite table serait plus utile et joli. Une chambre n’avait pas de lampes de chevet, une autre en avait mais brisĂ©es, le linolĂ©um au sol est dĂ©chirĂ© par endroit, une des portes de chambre ne se fermait pas parce que la serrure est brisĂ©e
Nous choisissons VRBO pour avoir des propriĂ©tĂ©s de plus haute qualitĂ©, mĂȘme si elles sont plus chĂšres. Cet appartement rencontrerait mieux ces critĂšres avec rĂ©amĂ©nagement et dĂ©coration.

Bon emplacement qui permet de visiter Rome facilement. Appartement ayant besoin de quelques travaux et meubles de changement (chaises aux pieds cassĂ©s, table bancale etc..) Cuisine trĂšs trĂšs exiguĂ«, manque de casserole, de saladier etc.... Le quartier trĂšs commerçant et permet de faire des courses de plats cuisinĂ©s car impossible de prĂ©parer un repas pour une famille. La terrasse pourrait ĂȘtre un atout majeur, malheureusement tous les meubles d extĂ©rieur sont cassĂ©s. Chambres convenables, salles de bains Avec manque d eau chaude pour une famille occupant les 4 chambres et 1 toilette avec problĂšme de chasse d eau. Nous retournerons Ă  Rome, mais pas dans cet appartement !! DĂ©solĂ© !!

The boat was a terrible communicator. We actually lost so much confidence we booked another property. When attempting to add a second night, after the host request; we foolishly agreed to go off the VRBO platform. After wiring money, they ghosted us for three weeks. We finally got a message on the extra night while on an overnight flight to Italy. Too late, I could not take a chance of arriving with my family and no accommodations. Host literally messaged us finally 7 hours or so before checking. Happy to share all unanswered messages with VRBO, or just look at the message history.

Two days in Rome and the Vatican

There were 10 people in our family group, and everyone is still raving about the time spent in Rome. They really appreciated the transportation that was arranged to pick them up at the train, and suggestions for a late night place to eat nearby. Our group easily found their way around with help of their hosts.

Good beds!!

Good-Beds were comfortable, which is a huge plus.Every room has a bathroom of its own and is private. Plenty of towels and blankets and pillows. Location is excellent. A half a block from the metro stop. Deck was a great place to relax and visit and be in the sun. Bad - Shower heads need replaced in 3 of the 4 bathrooms. The door latches were damaged, and didn’t lock properly on some bedroom doors. Kitchen (no pictures in the listing) is VERY small. Couldn’t find a knife anywhere. Could not cook a meal. Only used it as a place to make a sandwich and keep food cold. We did turn the oven on to reheat some pizza. Not an issue if you plan to eat out. We don’t have small kids now, so the stairs were not an issue. BUT if it was 4 years ago- this would not have worked. Not safe for kids under 5 or 6-ish.

Convenient, Clean and Spacious

Our group was basically 2 families, for a total size of 10. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for all. The metro was conveniently located 2 blocks away and we were able to get parking in a private lot about 4 blocks away. We were there to visit the Vatican which was also only blocks away. The apartment was new, so there were a few things that were still needed to be finished up, but that didn't affect anything. There was a nespresso for coffee and pods were provided. There was not a rack for drying clothes, or blankets for the beds, so hopefully those have been added. We mostly used the apartment for sleeping and showering and spent most of our time walking around Rome seeing all the sites. We felt safe and secure. I would stay here again. The neighborhood also has plenty of restaurants and markets for picking up snacks. The air conditioners worked great.

Good location, city apartment

The 4 bedroom apartment worked well for my family of 9 adults and one infant for visiting all the sites of Rome for four nights. The beds and a/c were good. The one negative was the tiny kitchen on the top floor with barely any supplies or room to cook, we couldn’t find the toaster. We ended up eating all meals out. The living room was small but the balcony was nice place to relax. We walked to the Vatican and took the metro to the Colosseum and other sites. Agnese was very responsive and helpful.

Great apartment for large groups

Was met at the property by Nicola who offered to help us bring our luggage to the apartment, which was nice of her. Was shown the property and answered all our questions. Nicola, was nice enough to let us drop our luggage off, before out check-in time, which was super convenient, as we had planned to do some exploring the day we arrived. The apartment itself has a really cute, private, terrace on the roof which was perfect for relaxing or eating breakfast from in the mornings. Although the kitchen was small, it was good enough for what we had planned. All the rooms came with air conditioning, which was nice to come back to after a hot day exploring the sites. The beds were comfortable and each room had its own bathroom, which was a nice treat, especially when your traveling with a large group. The only fault I could find with this place, was the bedroom closest to the door has a window above the bedroom door, which lets way too much light in from the motion-activated lights in the hallway. I'd suggest they put blinds or disable the motion lights. Having said all that I would definitely recommend this apartment to family and friends, and would stay here again!

Rome apartment near Vatican and St Peters

Agnese is phenomenal- responsive and attentive to details! Communication was slow through VRBO app with owner but great after started communicating via What’s app. Pros - individual spaces and bathrooms, outdoor patio for party of 7 amazing. Close to metro, shops, and restaurants. Safe - right across from police headquarters. Welcome basket nice touch - Agnese met us and gave us overview and answered all messages promptly! Love the flowers and fruit trees on patio that produce fruit you can enjoy! Cons - Plumbing system had some issues but was quickly fixed and handled by Agnese. Expected with older building. Suggest adding wine glasses - 2 not enough and was nice to sit on patio at end of day with drinks! A place to hang out together was limited to small dining area if too hot or rainy on upper deck. Overall a great place to stay!

We (group of 4 adults and 4 kids) were very disappointed about the overall quality of the appartment. The location was good but there was a flaw on every other areas: - kitchen is very tiny and definetely not fully equipped as told in description of the appartment (for example only 4 tea spoon and 5 wineglass). In addition, the kitchen is located on upper floor and the dining area on downstair. - Toilets were flooding as well as showers. The host promised to fix the problems and send a plumber to visit in appartment next day, but nothing happened. - we also run out of hot water daily. We got some advice to adjust the system ourselves and some how managed to got showers done. - terrace was totally unusable due to dirty floor and broken furnitures. Seems that terrace was not used or cleaned in long time. - We asked for baby chair in first night and still waiting the answer
 Baby ate on the floor or in the lap all week. - layout of the appartment is very dysfunctional. There is no living room or other place to spend time together. The kids played in entrance hall! - there was mold on the walls of the shower and bedroom. - The main door was so narrow that our normal size baby strollers needs to be dismantled when go in/out. - we informed these to host, but got answer only once when got some advice to adjust the water heating system ourselves.

Great Location but dated

Having four bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms was perfect for our group. The location near the Vatican and the metro station was good too. The apartment is getting pretty worn - all the furniture on the terrace needs to be replaced. The chairs around the dining room table have unstable legs. The showers do not have any shelves to place soap, shampoo, etc. The showers do not drain well. While the bedrooms are nice size, there really is no place to gather other than the upstairs terrace.

Last minute cancellation by host

I booked this apartment six months in advance after a careful search. The host had been slow to respond to my messages as our stay approached, but the night before our stay, he did reach out and say he would meet us at the apartment at the time we requested. The day of our arrival, as we were within an hour of Rome, I got a message that he had cancelled the booking and initiated refunds. The message said “due to Covid” with no details, but as Rome had a 97% occupancy rate that weekend, we think maybe he got a better offer. Whatever the reason, it was a scramble finding last-minute alternatives and we missed 2 out of 4 planned nights In Rome. So I have no comments on the accommodations, but the communication was not great.

Disappointing - Pictures Do Not Match Reality

The property was certainly not what we expected. The bedrooms were nice and each had a bathroom, but our broken toilet seat took 4 days to fix, plus the LED rope light was flashing in one of the bathrooms the day we arrived and was still not fixed when we left 7 days later. Some of the toilets didn't always flush. The patio furniture was dry rotted and unsafe. The owner wasn't very responsive. For example, I contacted him two days before we left to ask again about repairing the light and remind him when we were leaving and asked what to do with the keys. He never responded. We were very disappointed in the place and the owner's response.

Very nice property in a great location.

This is a lovely property with a lovely host. Nicola was very welcoming and took the time to talk us through the best things to see and visit during our stay. There is plenty of space for a large family and the four bathrooms make getting ready to go out so much easier. The air conditioning was great to come back to after a day in the August heat. The location was great with plenty of lovely restaurants only a short walk in the evening and the Metro station only a two minute walk. The rooftop is a lovely area to relax and get some sun when not out and about. The kitchen area on the upper level is quite small but we ate our most nights so it wasn't an issue for us. The property is in need of a little maintenance. The pictures were clearly taken after the 2016 renovation and 5-6 years of wear and tear have taken their toll. The roof top furniture has seen better days and some of the broken furniture was cluttering the corner of the roof terrace. A few of the fixtures and fittings were not great and a repaint of the interior would freshen it up. That being said we would happily return as it is very reasonably priced for the size a location and a the minor issues can be overlooked. In summery a lovely place to stay but with a little more maintenance to bring it back to 2016 level it would be amazing.

The property was clean, secure and spacious. It was centrally located, literally facing the Vatican. Our host Nicola was pleasant. I realized too late that there were no blankets on the beds and that there was no hairdryer, so I went to bed the night before our flight home with wet hair and a thin white sheet.

Modern st peters Apt

We loved the apartment, lots of rooms, lots of beds and each had its own bathroom.. wonderful roof patio, but too hot to use except AM due to August weather. Air conditioning wonderful, really a cool escape from the heat. Kitchen on top roof deck level and small & hit, otherwise functional and nice.
