This unit fit the bill -- great location in upscale part of Rome with great restaurants nearby, close to St Peters/Vatican and other points of interest. The management office right around the corner was a plus since I arrived early and had a place to store my bags. Spacious and clean, and well-stocked with coffee and other sundries. Wine and biscotti welcome gifts were nice touch. Definitely would stay there again.
Letâs start at the beginning. The transportation arranged by the local property managers were late. First, we had to wait for them to pick us up at the airport for about 30 minutes after flying all night from New York City.
Upon arrival, we were told a key would be waiting for us inside the building mail boxes. It was not. We had to call the emergency number to get an agent to meet us for the keys.
The unit is not on the ground floor as posted. We had to take two large suitcases up two flights of stairs.
The sofa is hideous and covered with nasty horse blankets. It should be removed and discarded immediately.
The entire unit should be painted. It has tons of shoes and scrape marks throughout. I have photos to support.
BATHROOM -
I had to get on a stool to remove one of the bathroom lightbulbs because it flickered nonstop. I had to adjust the bathroom sink drain so water would drain and not backup.
The water pressure was so poor, the bidet toilet was useless.
The shower head should be replaced. It sprays straight into the bathroom and is separated at the seam.
Bathroom is so tiny, I scraped my head three times On the vanity mirror edge just raising and lowering the toilet seat.
No soap dish in the shower.
Microwave started smoking after using less than one minute.
Got locked inside due to broken bolt lock. Very dangerous.
Had to ask for additional towels since we stayed several nights. No paper towels or dish towels for the kitchenette.
I can continue.
