Room was very clean and spacious. We loved the bathroom and large shower. Perfect location, walkable to many delicious restaurants and close to attractions. Staff were very welcoming, kind and helpful. We arrived to Rome before check in time and they were incredibly accommodating. I’ve stayed here before and will stay again!

Good location, clean rooms. Entrance to building is intimidating but rooms are pleasing. Courteous staff. Property does not operate a 24 hour concierge or desk coverage as part of the Relais chain.

The rooms were in a great location for all the attractions. The staff was friendly and available to help. We were able to get things when we needed them. Our room was cleaned and restocked daily. The view from our room was not as great as we expected based on reviews, but we didn’t spend much time in our room.

Loved the location. We walked to shopping, dining, drug store, groceries etc.. Bus and taxis were right outside our hotel door. It shows its age, but what do you expect from a 500 year old building. Our choice of rooms was nice as far as we had the whole top floor to ourselves but the elevator only went to the floor below us. Other than needing more comfortable chairs in our 2nd room, it was a nice set up. Staff was really friendly

Everything was good, my only struggle was the AC it wasn’t really cooling the room. Other than that the hotel was located in an amazing walkable area.

Location is ideal for if you're looking to stay centrally, although the city centre can be pretty loud in the early hours, Friday evening especially. Room was basic but perfectly serviceable. The room was cleaned daily and amenities restocked, although for some reason not the toilet roll?? I'm not sure 3 toilet rolls for 2 people to last 6 days makes that much sense? Coffee machine in the room didn't work properly. AC was perfectly fine and pretty much essential if travelling during the summer. The shower only gave cold water on one of the days also. Refreshing if you've been out in the humidity all day, less so if you're just waking up first thing in the morning. The water pressure also left a lot to be desired. Last but not least, there is absolutely no breakfast served at this hotel, despite it being labelled a 'bed and breakfast' and stating that a continental breakfast was included in the price. On the whole, pretty disappointing. Would only recommend if staying in the centre is essential to you.

Nazionale 51 was fantastic! The location is unbeatable—walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum, Pantheon, Trastevere, plus plenty of shopping and dining. Our room was very comfortable with wonderfully cool, quiet AC, a huge bathroom, and a convenient mini fridge. Customer service was super sweet and made our stay even better. Highly recommend!

The place was clean and the people working were very nice. The bad: water pressure is not good. Water in shower goes super hot and super cold randomly while showering. It's WAY too hot in this place. Despite being in the dead of summer there was no a/c running in hallways or lobby. Room temp does not work below 22 c- who wants to pay money to sleep like that?! Not me, nor my wife. There is 4 large flights of stairs, did I mention no AC? The elevator is scary, makes sounds and barely fits 2 people. I absolutely would not stay here again.

I felt completely taken advantage of at Nazionale 51. Despite having a fully prepaid reservation, I was denied access to my room and pressured into paying additional charges under duress. Weeks later, the hotel still has not provided any valid documentation to support their claims. The evasive behavior and shifting explanations were extremely concerning and unprofessional. This was a stressful and disappointing experience - I strongly recommend booking elsewhere.

Great hotel, very close to all the main attractions. Giulio was very helpful when che king us in and during the trip planning. The hotel doesn't have a big elevator so just be aware and be prepared to climb the stairs. Also, we arranged for a pick up from the airport to the hotel through the hotel staff. It was a bit confusing as we wanted a minivan to accommodate 5 of us but was quoted €80 the first time, then €100 the second time, then finally €110, this seemed a little strange. But the driver was fine and pick us up inside the airport. May be worth it to book a shuttle bus or try the subway rather than hiring the driver. Other than that, we enjoyed our hotel stay.

We had a nice stay at this property. At first we thought it was a house, the elevator (lift) is small and oldfashined. Wifi was not reliable and the AC in oir room was not cold enough (a second room we reserved for a friend the AC was fine). The room was clean and the shower was a nice size with great water pressure. It is located in a really convenient and safe location.
