Wonderful apartment in the heart of Rome in via della Dolcevita

Elegant and modern newly renovated apartment in the heart of Rome a few steps from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps.

Relais Dolcevita is located in the historic center of Rome, in the parallel of the prestigious via Veneto near the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. The apartment is about 45 square meters and can accommodate up to 4 people. Relais Dolcevita is located on the 3rd floor of an ancient building with lift.

The apartment has been recently renovated and furnished with taste and refinement, in order to offer a relaxing and comfortable environment. Inside the apartment you will feel at home, the comfort and silence, not usual for properties in the center of Rome, make it unique and appreciated by guests.

The air conditioning, two flat screen televisions, one of which 65-inch cinema effect, iron, Wi-Fi connection, hairdryer, clean sheets and towels that will be provided by the structure, will guarantee the best comfort for our guests and will make it unforgettable their living room.

The apartment is located in Via Marche, 72 the parallel of Via Veneto one of the most exclusive streets in Rome, the Via della Dolce Vita by Fellini. The property is located a few steps from Termini Station (10 minutes on foot). The location is very central and from Termini you have a metro, bus station and taxi available. Around the apartment there are shops and restaurants suitable for every need. On foot in 15/20 min you are at the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums.

The subway (line A, Barberini stop) is a 3 min walk from the nearest taxi station located in Piazza Barberini.

How to get:

From Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino airport (FCO) Rome airport: by train to Termini station (Leonardo Express train every 30 minutes), take underground line A for two stops, direction Battistini and get off at Barberini. Walk 200 meters to Via Marche, 72.

From Ciampino airport in Rome (CIA): by bus to Termini station, take underground line A for two stops, direction Battistini and get off at Barberini. Walk 200 meters to Via Marche, 72.

Arrival by car: Continue towards the city center, following the signs for via Veneto.

The closest garage: Parking Ludovisi Via Ludovisi, 60 Rome.

Peu de réactions.

Lunettes des wc cassé sans remplacement, la bouilloire fait sauter les plombs, pas d'eau chaude puis rétablissement à condition de tirer 50 à 100 litres d'eau avant que ce soit chaud. Pas de wifi pendant 5 jours alors que ce n'était que le cùble ethernet à changer et il a fallu que je fasse le diagnostic; exigeance de payer la taxe de séjour en liquide en faisant l'appoint et j'ai dû exiger un reçu.Table basse du séjour défoncée. Pas de rideau dans la chambre alors que vis-à-vis, équipement sommaire de la cuisine, penderie peu pratique.

Nous remercions Sandra pour son accueil et ses conseils trÚs utiles (sites , restaurants...) ; l'appartement est confortable, bien conçu, belle hauteur sous plafond, trÚs calme , et surtout à deux pas de la Porte Pinciana et des jardins Borghese ,avec facilité de transport (nombreux bus et métro à 8mn à pied). Nous conseillons cette location pour découvrir ou redécouvrir Rome en toute tranquillité et avec le plaisir de se retrouver le soir dans un appartement agréable.

Great location on a quiet street

Great location about 20 minute walk from Trevi, and a 12 minute walk to Spanish steps with all its great shopping. Manager was great and the check in process was very easy. If you go to take a shower, the water takes time to get hot. I thought it wasn’t working but if you give it about 5-10 minutes, the water does come out hot. Would definitely stay here again!

No Hot water for entire first week of rental; Inaccurate description of building; Elevator out

Manager waited until after I checked in to inform me on day of arrival that the hot water was out but would be restored by that evening. After daily misrepresentations about status of it being restored, the hot water finally was restored 7 days later. I learned that it wasn't a repair issue but the water was turned off for non-payment. Somehow Manager thought that hot water was not a necessity for anyone, but as she described an "inconvenience -- I'm a 70 year old man. She refused a total refund for these days. Then in the 3rd. week of rental, the water pressure almost made it impossible to shower at all. The Elevator was out intermittently and the final insult was that it was again on the Sunday morning of my departure -- I had to drag 4 large pieces of luggage down 4 flights of stairs, causing back ailments I'm still getting physical therapy for. No help. The building is a "C" class building , not updated and everything is old and worn. It is ANTHING BUT LUXURY "la dolce vita"-- no where is this an name depiction. The building houses a number sinle night rentals occupants coming and going at all hours. My stay was anything but "sweet" (dolce), it was a bitter month with a manager who misrepresented the status of the building. I still have much anxiety and residual pain from this experience. After 3 case numbers with VRBO, I only recently received a notification from VRBO recently that I would not be "eligible" for a refund and to work it out with this Manager directly.

Really Nice Stay

The place was as nice looking in person as it was online. The property manager that greeted us was very kind and while we did not know about the city tax that was due upon arrival, it was not too much of an inconvenience. Several good restaurants around this location. The only downside to the stay was an extremely uncomfortable mattress and few linens. The mattress was hard as a board and we could have used some more towels or washcloths in the bathroom. Other than that, the experience was wonderful. Thank you for a good time and if we ever come back to Italy we'll be looking for this location again.

Comfortable Family Stay

Magnificent Place for a Roma Experience

The host is gracious and accommodating to guests. She provided us information about restaurants, tours and the neighborhood. The property is clean, spacious, serene and in a safe part of the city. The area is full of friendly people, great restaurants and magnificent boutiques. It was easy walking to Borghese villa & around Roma. Great apartment in a great neighborhood!

The apartment is in a greet neighborhood walkable to Villa Borghese & gardens. It’s spacious, modern inside with a large bathroom. There’s a great little coffee shop on the corner, and restaurants all around within walking distance. The host was great, very communicative and checking in was a breeze.

Villa Borghese

We have been to Rome many times. This was a 3 week stay. Property was as advertised. Very close to Villa Borghese. Recently renovated. Host(Sandra) was responsive and attentive. Good restaurants and shopping in the immediate area. Spanish Steps and Trevi walkable and the Vatican is a subway or taxi away. Would recommend this property.

I was disappointed upon arrival to see that the bed sheets were wrinkled and was given black towels. The place did not seem clean to my standards and the cuttlery in the kitchen drawer were sticky. I told Sandra about it and she said that before I came in she did the cleaning and she thought it was perfectly ok. Did not want to argue. Beside, little things were not working such as the device to put the heater on. I had to ask for a change of battery. The safe was not functional. And in the middle of my stay, Sandra told me she had to come early afternoon with a technician to fix certain things in the apartment. When I came back she was still there and I had to insist to have her leave. Although i liked the decoration of the apartment and the area, I will not come back there.

Amazing apartment in Rome

As soon as we arrived we started having a wonderful experience. The owner was there to receive us and had some treats for our kids! The apartment was super neat, nicely decorated and practical. The sofa bed was very comfortable and even when it was open, we had room to walk around! They did an amazing job utilizing the space. Our kids were amused by the library on top of the sofa bed. The owner has the apartment very well stocked with toiletries. Finally it is well located and there is a map available for you to understand where you are located. There are restaurants around and you can walk to the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the Piazza del pop polo through The Borghese park
 we are already planning on visiting again! Thanks Sandra for all your attentions

Wonderful experience

We had a wonderful experience. The location was excellent! The apartment was very comfortable, clean, modern, plenty of of space for couple. We stayed 10 days and felt very lucky to find such quiet street in the middle of Rome. After a day of busy sightseeing we came back to a cool, quiet oasis to rest for the next day of Rome’s exploration. We would highly recommend Sandra’s apartment

I doubt an owner has stayed four consecutive nights here. Otherwise, the numerous minor deficiencies would be easily, inexpensively remedied. The practically unusable kitchen area is another matter.
