glad we moved, glad we stayed

we were there for a friends funeral, and had a small dog limiting our options in the area. The first day we had a room on the east side first floor. Not happy. It was like trying to sleep in the middle of a freeway. We were less than 100 feet from I5 with no wall or sound barrier. We requested a change to the west side. They were VERY accommodating and the general manager was really helpful and made sure the rest of our stay was as nice as could be. She even upgraded us to a King room.Thank you for that. The breakfast was good, with quite a few options, and the coffee was good. The rest of the staff were professional and very good natured and friendly. Considering why we were there, it was a good overall experience

The staff was very friendly but the hotel is very dated and it shows from stains on the walls along the halls and the room, a broken toilet to a very outdated elevator. Basically this hotel has not been maintained well for what is being charged for a room and I wont be staying here again.

Nice staff, dirty hotel

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Checkin went smoothly. The elevator is older and makes suspicious noise, we chose to take the stairs to the 4th floor. Upon entering our room everything seemed to be fine. Entered the bathroom, there was what appeared to be dried out fried rice on the floor. There was debris splattered in the tub (it appeared to not have been cleaned) the provided shampoo/conditioners were empty and the towel rack was not secured and fell off the wall when attempting to get a towel to dry off. At bed time we pulled the sheets back to find torn, stained linens. They smelled of bleach, so were "clean" but not aesthetic at all.

Bathroom wasn't flushing properly and getting clogged. I informed the front desk but they said that the hotel is fully booked so the pressure will be less. My friends stayed in other rooms who didn't experience this problem. The staff didn't change our room so we had to stay in the same room with unsanitary bathroom and flush.

Overall the Sleep Inn was a good value. Service was fantastic at the front desk and breakfast. The only detractor was the noise from the highway at night. I would ask for a room on the west side of the property next time.

Found somebody’s teabag in my room I don’t drink tea. It was not mine. It was underneath the bathroom sink, which tells me it wasn’t cleaned all that great. TVs kind of small for the price we pay should be bigger better.
