East Africa Amazon Guesthouse and Campsite started after various visits from friends from overseas who bring their friends along for safaris. They would stay in Guesthouses around town that didn’t have camping facilities or secluded high-end apartments which more regular visitors come looking for; a neat lawn for camping, fully fledged kitchen and clean and neat washrooms for the campsite as well as a public barbecue area. East Africa Amazon Guesthouse and Campsite is located in MUSANZE town on Gikwege road right below the electricity supplier EWSA. The Guest House has two on suite double rooms, two single rooms and one dormitory with 2 bunk beds and also the lounge that doubles as the front office. We have 6 tent luxury 4×4 camping Area and 12 tent overland truck camping area. We have a Kitchen that does both continental and African food operated by a professional chef. We have shared washrooms for both the Luxury 4×4 and Overland truck Campsites.

Our location is close to two international borders and two big national parks; Virunga and Bwindi on the side of Uganda make us the ideal place to stay as one prepares to visit these two great parks for once in a lifetime opportunity of tracking the mountain gorillas.
Amazon Luxury Apartments was started as an extension of Amazon Guesthouse and Campsite after realizing the need for more exclusive accommodation options to cater for high end local and international tourists. The Luxury apartments are in a secure fence with enough parking for at least four 4×4, the two apartments each have two bedrooms with kingsize beds. lounge with leather couches, DSTV, Wifi and Kitchen with a professional chef at all times. Amazon Luxury Apartments is located on the outskirts of MUSANZE town just off Cyanika road.

Amazon Community Modal Farm was started so that both our Guesthouse and Campsite and Luxury apartments can have a regular supply of organic food i.e. meat. pork. chicken. Eggs. milk and vegetables. We keep pigs, goats. cattle and chickens and turkeys and at the same time give some livestock to youth and women groups around MUSANZE. Our farm doubles as a modal farm for the groups mentioned above and other farmers from our community where they come to learn how to best look after their livestock. This modal farm is located on the outskirts of MUSANZE in Cyuve sector some short distance from both the Guesthouse and Luxury Apartments.

We have 15 breeding sows (250 porkers annually) at the farm. 2 milking cows, 10 goats. 200chicken (100 layers and 100 broilers). This livestock is what keeps the steady supply of organic livestock products to our Guesthouse Campsite and apartments.

Our strength lies in the fact that the Guest House ownership comes from a diverse group of individuals comprised of South Sudanese, Ugandan and Rwanda cultural backgrounds with a combined experience of more than 25 years in tourism and hospitality industry.
