Fabulous Family Getaway

We had an amazing time at the Quiet Ruidoso Hideaway. It was very spacious and super clean. The best part was sitting in the living room with the family and being mesmerized by the awesome decor. Waking up in the morning, and looking out the windows at the spectacular views of Ruidoso was an added bonus. The host does a great job of leaving messages around the house to help with your stay. Our party of 12 had a fabulous time.

Snowed-In

This family cabin was excellent! Plenty of room for our whole group, 4 adults and 6 kids. Great location for all Ruidoso activities, right in the center of town. We actually got a foot of snow the night before we were supposed to leave and were snowed in. No worries, plenty to do right there, watching deer right on the property, building snowmen, and sledding! The owner was super responsive when we had to extend our stay. Thanks so much!

We were in town for a softball tournament. The cabin was very spacious for multiple families and the decor was amazing! The communication with the property manager was easy and they were quick with responses. We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend!

Amazing stay!!

This property was simply amazing! We had a group off 11 ranging from 65 down to 3 and it was perfect for everyone. The kids had a blast at the kids cabin and the adults enjoyed the patio with a beautiful view. Communication with the owner was so easy! She was available at all times for any questions we had. I hope to be able to visit again soon!

Absolutely Disgusting

We rented this property during Christmas and we were absolutely disgusted by the upkeep of the property. The first thing that we noticed is that all the furniture was very filthy and looked like to was brough over from the street. The next thing that we noticed was the entire kitchen was in disarray and all the utensil drawers were just a jumble of things. The dishes and glasses seemed unclean and we had to clean everything before using. The trash was full and not emptied. The heating was not even in all the rooms as some of the vents were closed off. This property is not intended for 7 people to take showers in the morning as the hot water ran out after 2 people showered. And the towels provided were old and raggedy. I can go on and on but the bottom line is that this property was absolutely filthy on the inside and we were all very disgusted by it.

The worst cabin

I probably won't be using this property..we rented the cabin Thursday to Saturday well on Friday morning the house keeper shows up and said im front of my kids "yall need to leave immediately we have other guests coming in a few hours " and I try to tells her we had the cabin until Saturday morning and she just p Keep saying we had to leave, i got voicemail from Kelly the owner also demanging us to get out and it wasn’t until i called to her to solve the issue well i didn’t even get and apology .The dishes were dirty and the house was full of dust and under the furniture was so dirty with dirty and dust. Friday afternoon the AC stopped working and when we returned to the cabin the house was super hot and humid texted the owner at 8pm since she said text works better with her didn't get a responded back frim her until Saturday morning..Worst experience ever !

Just what we needed!

What a great property! House was large but cozy! Filled with art and many areas for eating, talking, reading and playing games. Spent most of the time with the windows opened and the crisp air blowing through. The property has everything you need. All kitchen utensils, bedding, games, books, and art. The porch/garden area was so relaxing. Just what our family needed.

Family friendly

Very nice home, great for larger families. The floorplan is split so the house can actually accommodate one family downstairs in the two bedrooms and another family upstairs in the two additional bedrooms. Our Kids had a blast, we brought 5 kiddos ranging in age from from 5 to 11. There’s even a playhouse/ kids cabin for them. The kitchen is very well stocked with plates, utensils, pots, pans, and grill tools etc. but no plastic bowls for the little kids to eat cereal.

Very cute cabin and private yard. Our family loved the covered porch and watching the rains! The owner was very helpful and we loved the history behind the home! Some minor issues were easily remedied, such as no toilet paper or dish soap available upon arrival. We would definitely go back!
