The dunes, unique along this part of the coast, are a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest and have also been used as film locations, standing in for the Sahara Desert in one of the Carry On films and also as the evacuation beaches of Dunkirk. The holiday cottage also offers a first floor sun lounge - an ideal place to sit and enjoy the winter sunshine. Further along the coast is Dungeness, an isolated pebbly beach. Visit the uniquely beautiful garden of the former home of film director Derek Jarman, Prospect Cottage is filled with driftwood and sculptural plants.

Explore the beautiful Sussex countryside and discover the cobbled town of Rye, harbouring interesting antique shops, markets and galleries or visit Winchelsea, the smallest town in England. A complimentary parking permit is available courtesy of the owner. Shops and pubs 50 yards.
