This native custom home was built to make you feel like a part of the Frio River Area and the Texas Hill Country. While sitting on the back porch, enjoy the view of the spectacular pool and the Concan River Valley. This house is the perfect place to have a family vacation, entertain golfing buddies or gather with a group of friends. Located close to live music at the House Pasture Cattle Co. and the Frio River, the Sweet Spot IS THE SPOT!! This home also has an outdoor kitchen with an extra refrigerator. Mixed with modern conveniences (large screen TV's, Wi-Fi, Washer & Dryer) and rustic decor, this Lodge is the perfect Frio River Getaway!

All vehicles are to remain in the designated parking areas. Please do not park on grass and/or landscaping. Each rental will receive one parking pass per bedroom. All additional vehicles are $20 for the duration of your stay and must park in the overflow parking at the front of the resort. Our front gate is monitored by security and cameras.

For your convenience, bed linens will be provided, and your beds will be made upon your arrival. You and your guests will need to bring bath, kitchen, and river and/or pool towels. In addition, the home will be supplied with a starter kit including dish soap, hand soap, dishwasher pods, trash-bags, laundry detergent, paper towels, and toilet paper for each bathroom. We advise you bring additional for your stay.

Definitely the sweet spot!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As soon as we pulled into the driveway we loved it! Has it’s own driveway and neighbors not to close. Very roomy and beautiful inside and out. We all enjoyed the big pool and outdoor bbq pit. I am ready to go back and I would def chose this house again. River access not to far from home and it’s in a very safe community.

Summer 2022 trip

We all had a great time. The house was perfect and we had everything we needed to cook with and clean up with as well. Lay-out chairs would have made it even nicer to lay out by the pool but the chairs provided were nice too. Would definitely recommend this house for a fun family vacation.

Great location

The house was very spacious for my group of 17 people. We loved the outdoor area and the perk of parking being included at Frio country. This house is in the back of a cul-de-sac so you feel secluded from the other properties on the golf course. We would certainly book it again.

Sweet spot could have been sweeter if..

Dont let my title stop you from staying here. It was a beautiful home with plenty of room. We were there around New Years & it was very cold one day. There are no blankets for the beds, only a bedspread. We didnt find the upstairs thermostat, so the guest upstairs were overheating. There are pots and pans, dishes, & silverware, but no spices or pantry items. Lots.of lights with labeled switches but many bulbs were out. I would recommend the stay, but next time I will be more prepared.

We stay 6/7 each time. That is ALOT of money to pay and have problems. We will NOT be back to this home unless its taken care of. The pool was nasty the whole time. Drains were clogged inside. It needs updates desperately. The pool guy came and told me he left a net for me to clean it with. We paid almost 6000,00 dollars. I didnt pay that to clean a pool all week. He said we couldnt turn the skimmers on either. Pool had issues. We were very very dissapointed. Not with the rental company, the home.
