This is a beautiful suite in a perfect location. Very walkable and great for biking (there are bikes available for guests). Every time we walked through the gate, the heavenly scent of orange blossoms greeted us. The patio is also lovely and shady.Marsha is the most attentive host ever! She left a basket of snacks, fruit, and beverages for us. And the exact type of milk we use in coffee, plus a new electric frother. When I borrowed my relative's air mattress (I needed a firmer mattress), Marsha responded by bringing me an extra sheet. When she brought us warm scones one morning, I mentioned I had just finished doing yoga and presto! she brought a yoga mat. You will not find a more communicative, welcoming host than Marsha. Plus everything is super clean!

This is an exceptional find! This upscale villa is finely appointed with a private patio, comfortable bed, completely stocked kitchen and laundry room. The host has bikes to share as you enjoy the walkable neighborhood and nearby American River parkway. Located near boutique restaurants and shops and within walking distance of a Trader Joes. Don't hesitate to stay her for one week or more.

A beautiful, welcoming, home

This is our second stay here. Marsha couldn't be kinder and her home is spotless and cozy. The small kitchen is fully functional--I made Thanksgiving pies there, last stay. The bed is luxurious. And the surrounding yard and neighborhood in the Fab Forties is a perfect take off perch for visiting our son's family in Sacramento. Highly recommended!

We keep coming back to this great apartment. The bed is very comfortable and everything is immaculately clean. This time we even got to enjoy the Christmas decorations in the Fabulous Forties! It's the perfect apartment for us and Marsha is the perfect host.

We stayed in Marsha's apartment earlier in the year and we loved it so we returned. In fact, we have already booked another stay for later this summer. The apartment is clean and modern and it has everything you will need for a comfortable stay.

This place is simply the best

This is a comfortable guest suite in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood, stocked with everything you could need. Marsha is the best host ever -- she really cares for her guests. I've stayed here several times and it's consistently great.

Great apartment, great neighborhood

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Marsha’s apartment. It is very comfortable and very well-appointed. There is a full kitchen with stovetop, oven, and dishwasher that we used almost every night. The bed is very comfortable, with great high-end sheets. Street parking was always available out front and never was a problem, as it requires a “resident” permit that Marsha provided. We enjoyed frequent walks in the elegant Fabulous Forties neighborhood, with occasional longer walks downtown to the Capitol Mall. We definitely hope to return.

Charming Oasis in East Sac

I had a lovely time staying at Marsha's lovely villa. Marsha was welcoming and accommodating and the villa was perfectly placed with everything I needed. It was within walking distance of wonderful restaurants and an easy drive to the rest of the Sacramento area. I always felts safe in the neighborhood and would often go on runs to the American river. I highly recommend staying here on your next excursion to Sacramento.

Cozy in-law suite

This is a book lovers paradise. Marsha is very welcoming and helpful. She is generous with snacks and beverages. The layout of the suite is perfect and nicely decorated. The suite is located on the main floor of the owner’s home with a thin wood door separating the two. Marsha tries to be respectful of one’s privacy. Laundry facilities are in the garage across the courtyard. Didn’t mind that as the courtyard is beautifully arranged with lovely plants.

Ideal Getaway

If the location and description of this property aren't enough, just see how many 5-star reviews Marsha has received - they're all for a good reason, and they're all spot on. This is a quiet, really well appointed suite and Marsha goes way above and beyond to be a gracious host. The night we arrived there were snacks, fresh fruit and cold drinks in the fridge, and her communication before and during our stay couldn't be more thorough or helpful. Located in a great walking neighborhood - the "fabulous forties" - this is truly an ideal villa oasis - we'll be back!

Exquisite Property

I can't say enough good things about this property. Marsha has provided a lovely place to stay while in Sacramento, The furnishing are high quality, the bedding and towels are better than a 5 Star hotel. She provides a nice assortment of water beverages, along with some snacks and coffee. She even brings you a plat of fresh fruit. I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning.

Everything about this place is perfect: a cute little apartment, nicely decorated, comfy bed, full kitchen, access to washer/dryer, I could go on and on. Even the silverware is top-notch! But the best things are the location, in an absolutely beautiful, highly walkable neighborhood in the best part of Sacramento, and the host, Marsha, who really makes an effort to ensure that her guests to have a great stay. I can't recommend it enough!

My go-to vacation rental

I was so lucky to find this place this spring, and now it's my go-to vacation rental in Sacramento. It's located in the BEST part of Sacramento, within walking/biking distance from shopping, cafes and restaurants. The guest suite is beautifully decorated and very comfortable with everything you could need for a short or long stay. And Marsha is simply the best! She genuinely puts her guests first and puts in a lot of effort to make sure they have a great stay with her. I've already reserved for next spring!

My new favorite place to stay in Sacramento! Marsha's place is in the most beautiful, walker-friendly part of the city, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and countless more available in easily accessible midtown/downtown. The suite itself is comfortable, beautifully decorated, and with everything you needed for an extended stay. Marsha is a first-class host who attended to my every concern and even showed up once in a while with fresh-baked goodies! I'm almost sorry to give such a great review for fear her place will become too popular, but I have to give an honest appraisal. Would give 10 stars if I could!
