The house is very dated, the beds were uncomfortable, the rubbish bins outside were overflowing. The listing states a hot tub and the photos show that that’s what drew us to book but upon arrival there wasn’t one ! The staff on the phone were rude when they called to complain about our parking, we wasn’t even in at the time. They didn’t even ask if everything was ok with the stay. Would I recommend it no !

The inside of the house was good and we were generally happy with the accommodation itself. However, unfortunately our experience outside the property was very different. The access and parking area was extremely tight, with a lot of bins and rubbish nearby and an unpleasant smell. The most upsetting incident happened on the second morning. When we woke up, we found watermelon peelings and other watermelon rubbish thrown all over our car, including the roof, front of the car and windscreen. It was sticking to the car and we had to remove it and clean the car ourselves. We do not know who did this or why, but it was very unpleasant and made us feel unsafe and uncomfortable, especially as we were staying there as a family. There were cameras outside the property, so we were surprised that something like this could happen around the parked car. Checkout was at 10:00am, and the lady was already outside at exactly 10:00 as we were locking the door and leaving. We understand that 10:00 was the official checkout time, but combined with the rest of our experience, it did not feel particularly welcoming. Overall, the inside of the house was absolutely fine, but the outside surroundings, difficult parking, rubbish/bin area and especially the incident involving our car made the stay uncomfortable. Unfortunately, we did not feel safe and secure and would not choose to stay here again.
