The Texas Cabin is an old rustic barn that has been converted into a wonderful living space. Shaded with big oak trees! Enjoy the coziness of the FARM along with horses, kitties and chickens! only 2hrs from the DFW area! Grab a bottle of wine @ local wineries and let the kids run free!! . Come sit on the porches and sip on wine! Enjoy sunsets, night sky, and cozy up by the fire pit! Take a walk thorough the wild flowers! 🌸 🐎 Enjoy the farm favorites- Rosie and Ranger (Farm dogs)

We live an hr from the property but are fully available via text message.

We do have another Airbnb on property.

The cabin is on 10 acres with another Bnb. (Sunset oaks Texas cabin and sunset oaks Boho Farmhouse. )

We are 8miles from Saint Jo where there is a vibrant square of museums, eateries, shopping! A few miles from Saint Jo are the wineries and ancient ovens.

Nocona is 6 miles. Nocona offers a wonderful downtown that often has live music and art festivals. The brewery has some great beers and live music and is located in the old Nocona Boot factory... for sure worth checking out!

Nocona Lake is a wonderful country lake for fishing and hiking (15mins)

Muenster is 15 miles and it’s a festival town! It has several large festivals a year with a very lively downtown full of shopping, eats, and the Fischer’s meat market!

Red river cycle trails is 18 miles. It is a 2700 acre park for dirt bikes and atv. I have heard it’s wonderful for the adventure seekers!

Nocona Lake is a beautiful and quiet lake. It’s 13 miles from sunset oaks. Snows Marina is a great place to check out!

Want to hit up the slots or a concert? WinStar casino is 40 miles. Or Riverstar Casino 15 miles

Please feel to wonder the woods . We have created little foot paths! (Pink Rock and Blue Rock Trail)So bring some boots! This is a 10 acre property. Enjoy the nature!

Guests have their own private patio, wonderful views of the sunsets and have their own green space to throw a frisbee around!

Enjoy the peacefulness and the natural beauty of the countryside at Sunset Oaks farm! The mornings are quiet with an occasional crow of the rooster and chirping of birds. The evenings are colorful as the sun sets behind the hills and the stars light up the big Texas sky. ⭐️ 🌚

If you only need ONE night please inquire!

The cabin is a full kitchen! Cozy living space and many places to enjoy the outdoors! We also have lots of animals to interact with while on the farm!

The cabin has window units and it stays pretty cool but maybe NOT cold cold in the hot summers of Texas. If you like your house and room super cold then the cabin isn’t the best place for you in the heat of the Texas summers.

For cold winter nights we encourage our guests to use the wood burning stove. It that heats up the cabin very nicely!! If this is something you would not like to do then the cabin is probably not the best place for you to stay when it is cold outside. Wood is located under the patio. Please use all fire safety and never leave a fire unattended. Master bedroom has a portable ac and heater. Each level also has a portable radiator. Lots of blankets!! Cozy up!!

Please::: note that this farm stay and there are farm animals on the property. So please mindful and do not let kids mess with their food, cages or waters! Thank you so much! Do enjoy the animal and give love to them!! Thank you so much!! 🐎 🐶 🐱 🐓

This is a farm/country so there are spiders, mice, bugs, butterflies and kinds of critters…. We do our best to keep pests population down but you may find spiders and bugs in the cabin. We do apologize! But there are so many pests!🤪😀 we are also on well water. 💦

We live on a hill and the sunsets are amazing! (we are your only neighbors) Many deer, bobcats, birds and other wildlife is often seen. 🐦 Feel free to enjoy the footpaths (Pink Rock Trail) and enjoy the variety of trees, birds, and wildflowers!!! Spring is amazing!!! We are not the Hilton but I think we are better!! Enjoy!!!

Come sit back and relax leave your cares and worries at home! We don’t have WiFi but we have no problem with cell service and many guests use their hotspots. We ONLY have a TV and DVD player. NO Cable… NO WIFI TX CABIN I UNPLUGGED… great way to enjoy family and friends!!
Coffee is provided. ☕️ And this is the cabin! But please take advantage of the cabin feel and cozy up!!! Downstairs master is a queen bed.

The the cabin is IDEAL for a small family or a couple!


Our guests have their private patio, and brand NEW balcony with views all to their own as well as a nice green space! Come sit in the hammock and enjoy the fresh country air! Multiple spaces for sitting and sipping wine to enjoy the country air! Bring your bikes and take a bike on the not so busy dirt road! 🌅

Please enjoy the chickens, barn kitties and momma cats! And the farm dog, Rosie aka chicken protector! she is very sweet and she loves to smile! And then we have Ranger the best fun loving beagle ever! And he’s great at keeping snakes away! Both are super awesome!!! The horses are grey fun too!! And love apples and carrots for treats!! Spartan- mustang and spirit the pony!!


We are in a county wide BURN BAN. No outside fires including the fire pit.


***The house (Boho Farmhouse) is also an Airbnb so please be mindful that others are staying on the same property. And if you do need something bigger ... it’s bigger!*** BoHo farmhouse and TX cabin share the same property!

We live off a quiet dirt road so feel free to bring bikes and go for a bike ride!

We have 2 parking spaces for our guests.

We do have someone who mows every Thursday starting around 10 am during the mowing season.

We do provide enough toilet paper for 2 days and one laundry pod. If you need more basics Nocona is 6 miles away.

We are well water and have an electric water heater which can cause a smell… sorry!!! To help leave bathroom door open and bathroom fan on!! Thanks!:)
