This property is lacated in the historic old town of Salerno. It is close to many fabulous restaurants and shops. Because of this there is a lot of activity on the streets later in to the evening which can be heard in the apartment. The location is close to the waterfront and to many local attractions.

Location, location, location. This place is in the heart of shopping, dining, and sites. Problems: 2 bedrooms have private bathrooms, and the 3rd bedroom is a loft, with a short ceiling and small bed, with no bathroom access except via the other bedrooms; the air conditioning is inadequate, particularly in the living room and loft bedroom; there is one set of keys attached to the power paddle, so if you’re out late, the only way in is to wake up a sleeping guest to let you back into the building and apt. If you take the key with you, guests in the apt. have no power. The loft TV doesn’t work. Instructions need to add how to turn on the hot water, where to find the utensils, and guidelines on using the A/C units- they seem to work best when set to 23 or 24 degrees. Lower temperature and they stop working. The bldg entry is dominated by a porta potty. The stove vents into the kitchen, making a warm kitchen even hotter. Overall, not a good rental for summer and warm weather but might work okay in winter and cooler temperatures.

This place is in a great location! The apartment feels modern (in the oldest part of Salerno) and it accommodated my group of six well. The AC is not icebox cold, but we were never too hot. This required the AC to run constantly. The loft definitely needs a fan to give the area needed circulation. The host was great. The entrance was clear.
