Access to miles of mountain trails are within 5 minutes of the front door, and quick walk across the rail yard brings you to downtown Salida. From the deck, you can see a panorama of mountains and the most gorgeous sunsets over the Arkansas river. Between Monarch Ski Resort just 30 minutes away, the Arkansas River, and the mountain trails, it's the perfect launching point for experiencing the best of Colorado, and the town of Salida is a true gem, with some great restaurants, historic downtown charm, and all the amenities you might need.
