Not As Good As Usual

Room smelled stale and as though an animal had occupied the room. Pillows need to be either washed or replaced. They smelled sweaty and old. Shower was warm but never got hot. We usually stay at this hotel when in town because of no pet policy but was disappointed in the lack of cleanliness previously mentioned problems.

We booked this hotel because we thought it was a park and fly. When we called the hotel to confirm our airport shuttle we were told it WASN’T a park and fly. When we checked in we were told it was a park and ply but we would need to pay as almost as much as parking at the airport and we couldn’t get the shuttle time we needed because they “don’t use the shuttle during those hours”. We ended up just driving ourselves to the airport and using the long term parking. Next time we will just stay home.

A nice place away from the hustle and bustle .

The breakfast was good, staff friendly., rooms spacious. Housekeeping did a great job. Very close to the main city. 15-25 minutes to all the downtown attractions. Parking was a little limited. Would recommend the hotel addmuffins with breakfast. Would stay again.

Great Place to Stay

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Our room was recently renovated, the staff was very helpful, we had a comfortable bed and we had a tasty breakfast. Our only complaint was that the shower water was only tepid and we couldn’t make it any hotter.

I booked a room with a jet tub (hot tub). Before trying out the jet tub we thought we would shower. Water was barely luke warm, told the front desk and they said to wait ten minutes. We waited 30 minutes to try the jet tub and still no hot water. So much for our romantic getaway. Paid extra for the jet tub suite and couldn't even use it. Now I work for a large company that employed about 40,000 people and some come to Salt Lake City often, I will never recommend this hotel for anyone to stay. Besides the fact that they had no hot water, I was told there was a one hundred dollar deposit, which I had no problem with, until I checked my account and found that as I had paid Expedia for the room, the hotel placed $230.90 as a charge to my credit card. Add that to the $166.90 I paid for the room makes the total charge just under $400.00, not cool. Not cool at all.
