There's a coffee shop/cafe on site. You can enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge. Business amenities include meeting rooms and coworking spaces.
WiFi is free in public spaces. A vending machine, ski storage, and shopping on site are also featured at evo Hotel Salt Lake City. Self parking is free.
This property is located 0.5 miles from the nearest bus and tram stop and just over 1.2 miles from Salt Palace. There are very limited facilities for breakfast or lunch close the hotel. It caters to a young crowd who want to skateboard, rock climb and bike. An Uber will cost over $20 during surge time from the convention Center.
The room I had a sloping roof so low I bumped my head twice getting out of bed. The beds are not made up daily and the interior is spartan, apart from some fantastic Persian rugs in the lobby.
There is an extra $25/ day facility fee even if you never use the extra facilities.
The immediate area around the hotel is a giant building site and a homeless shelter not more than 1 city block away.
Not for the faint hearted.

The property/hotel is brand new surrounded by beautiful mountains. Yet the rooms were interior, with no windows, like a cave. I had to use my phone light just to see my clothes. No closet to hang my work clothes, no desk/chair to work, no tv, no in room coffee maker. A road side motel has better in room amenities. I had to switch hotels, however, the staff were very understanding and offered a refund as several other guests were requesting the same.
Such a cool little place. My issue was two fold. There was a weird sound (maybe heating/cooling) that was quite disruptive. The neighboring room had barking dogs that went long into the night.
They should probably warn people who want a hotel room for the night, PRIOR to booking, that they're going to be having a loud party with thumping bass until late at night.
This is one of my favorite places Iâve ever stayedâwe bouldered for free (included in the stay), and everything is clean and welcoming. There are cornholes and a lounge on the floor with the rooms and a nice bar and coffee shop. Thereâs construction close by but it didnât bother us. Lots of incredible restaurantsâcheck out Laziz, a Lebanese place nearby. Delicious and lovely!
Rough looking upon arrival. Construction everywhere. Not a friendly check in. Room was much smaller than expected. Not clean. Hair on pillow in bed and on sheets. Parking was a trainwreck. Coffee shop was great. Location was pretty good. Definitely not our vibe. Was basically a skateboard park. Never would stay again.
This is a very unique hotel. Definitely has an adventure vibe and community field. Front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. We had access to a skateboard park and rock climbing gym. Really unique blend of retail and hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable, too !
Super fun hotel with great amenities! Lots of local breweries within walking distance. Shopping and entertainment on site. Highly recommend if you want a non standard hotel experience!
