Location The villa is in the charming seaside town of Torre Vado, close to beautiful, wide sandy beaches. The town has several good restaurants which serve the freshest seafood and local wines. It is just 15 minutes from Santa Maria di Leuca, at the southern tip of the Salento peninsula. The seafront is known for its lovely villas, elegant buildings and the Lungomare Cristoforo Colombo shopping street. In addition to being the home of Europeâs tallest lighthouse, the town is also the end of the Apulian aqueduct and the waters cascade down an elaborate waterfall. There is plenty to explore along the coast, beautiful beaches, caves and the stunning Il Ciolo inlet, near Gagliano del Capo, which is known for its crystal clear sea.
Gallipoli (35 minutes) is a very popular tourist destination during the summer months. In Greek, Gallipoli means âbeautiful cityâ and the town does not disappoint. The townâs ancient walls soar over the harbour and fishing port. There is a daily fish market where if you go early you can pick up the freshest catch of the day.
The closest airport is at Brindisi - just over 1 hour and 30 minutes away by car.
Die Wohnung ist groĂzĂŒgig, nicht weit von einem grandiosen Strand, gut ausgerĂŒstet und hat einen supertollen Blick auf das Meer. Es hat alles prima geklappt.
