Perfect getaway

Pamlico Hound was the perfect stay for our 2024 OBX vacation. It was in a great location with easy access to the beach and beautiful views of the sound. The house was well stocked for all your needs. Highly recommend!

Stunning beach house

From the moment we booked, Dan and Dawn were there every step of the way until we arrived. They answered all of our questions promptly and we feel like we have known them forever. Their house is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Very convenient to all. We were welcomed with a tote bag of goodies when we checked in. They made sure we were happy and asked if we needed anything during our stay while we were there. We will definitely be booking again in the fall. Cheers Kristen and Mark

Beautiful home in a great neighbor.

This was our third time staying in the neighborhood. It just seems to get better. Insanely clean home in pristine condition with extremely attentive hosts. Hosts took the time to reach out multiple times to alert us of some utility work that would take place on the island and that power / internet would be down for an hour. Outage lasted about 5 minutes. Garbage didn’t come as scheduled and they sent us a gift card just to bring the cans back in. These are hosts that take your time and vacation seriously, bending over backwards to accommodate you. The neighborhood is perfect, long dock with gazebo and lots of area to fish. Boat launch on the sound side. Kayaks, basketball net, corn hole. We had 4 kids from 9-13 and they we fully occupied and happy for the entire trip. Beach is literally a two minute drive to ORV ramp 23. For those of us that love to fish, lots of catching this trip and for the day it was too windy we fished the docks on the sound side and caught 6 puppy drum in a couple hours. Ok, I didn’t catch any, but the kids did. 😂 Plenty of room in the house. Suggestion, when you rent and are allocating bedrooms, get the upstairs master. The shower in there is amazing. My 11 year old daughter saw it and started to unpack in that room instantly. Took some high level negotiating to get her to leave. Rent with confidence that you will have a fantastic vacation.
