We had a late night check in prior to a surgery the next day. I was planning to take a bubbke bath as it would be my last one for 6 weeks. The tub stopper didn't work. I called the front desk and he was the only one there abd unable to come help. He offered to switch us rooms but we had already unpacked everything abd I had a lift chair delivered. Not to mention, there were no luggage carts to be found 😞. Breakfast was good, but pretty much the same each day w/no variety. One dsy we heard a couple fighting on our floor. We called down to the front desk and they seemed unconcerned. The next day there was fighting from the same couple--crying, yelling, slamming doors, etc. We went down to the front desk to tell them again and they said they would check it out. We asked for a late checkout at noon instead of 11. The staff said yes, but the following day housekeeping knocked on the door at 11 and then front desk called at 11:20 so clearly the staff doesn't communicate. Housekeeping doesn't come every day, they do every 3 days. I was in town for surgery and stayed 8 nights, so for sanitary reasons I really needed more and unfortunately there wasn't a handicap room, so that was tough. We had to track them down for toilet paper abd extra towels. That is why I rate this property as just average.

Family Stay

Very clean and nice hotel. Lupita at guest services was polite and friendly. Breakfast was great. Pool was a bit small, but the water was crystal clear and the pool chairs were plentiful. Great family vacation weekend get away.

They couldn't have picked a better spot. You were no more than 15 mins away from truly anything that you may have wanted to do ( six flags, sea world, bar hopping, shopping, etc)

Great breakfast at this hotel. Awesome scrambled eggs, waffles and potatoes made up for crappy shower head. Super friendly staff. I would recommend staying here if you are attending Air Force graduation. This hotel is about a 15 minute drive from Lackland AFB and San Antonio Airport. Hotels and neighborhoods near the base are sketchy! Get 15-20 minutes away from the base. I highly recommend staying here!!

My wife and I took our son from Austin to San Antonio for follow up at the Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant division. We did not know how long he would be at his appointment with lab work and other studies. We had decided to stay the night in San Antonio. Unfortunately the appointment was cancelled at the last minute. He wanted to return home in Austin. We stopped by the hotel and told the clerk about our situation. It was too late to get a refund. Nothing bad or good happened at the hotel. The situation made our brief stay terrible.

Old, outdated

Hotel is outdated. I've stayed here once before but had driven in late and guess didnt notice. But this time, Stayed only one night to visit family. Not very clean, a lot of stain on hallway carpets. Just very dingy. Room itself didnt feel comfortable either. Bed was lumpy. Whole hotel needs an update.

Nice hotel away from the IH10 traffic noise. Breakfast was satisfying and the coffee was very good. The staff were all friendly with excellent customer service. We will stay there again!
