Good afternoon,I do apologize for any inconvenience and miscommunication but it is stated on our website that we are an extended stay property and we do not serve breakfast but we do sell breakfast items in our cupboard and provide coffee and tea 24/7 to all of our in house guest. I booked my room at hotel circle for $119 I get there The lady behind the desk didn't greet us right away. She asked for my CC and ID i thought to check us in. She says it will be a $10 parking fee. She didn't tell me she was going to run my card for $229 before she tried twice. Than tells me my card is declining for the $229. I said yah because I don't have 229 on that card why would it be that much? She studders and says for the $100 deposit and didn't know what the extra 10 was for. I asked if that included the parking fee? At first she said no but then said yes. I said no where on your website or Travelocity does it say there is a $100 deposit the parking fee I read from another guests comment. She didn't know the answer. At this point in tired and frustrated. I said ok and gave her another card. She said she couldn't take another CC it has to all be on one card. I asked for a manager she told me she was the only one there and gave me the GM's card and told me I could email her but she probably wouldn't respond because it's the weekend. I told her to just refund the money already being held on my card and I will go elsewhere. I found a nicer cheaper option at the Best Western Marina.

We made the right decision staying at Candlewood Suites San Diego. Our suite was very roomy. All 5 of us had a place to sleep comfortably. Plus the 2 bathrooms helped start our days without bathroom traffic. If you are traveling with family and you are not a fussy traveller, this hotel is home away from home. Also the front desk staff were very polite and helpful.

The facilities and staff are outstanding. The features of the room enabled me to do lots of work and relax in the same space. The staff went out of their way to make sure that the stay was comfortable and productive.

The hotel was under renovation. No pool, spa not available

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: under renovation
The Hawthorne in San Diego turned out to be a better motel than expected. The motel was under renovation, but the room was nice. The room had two queen beds in a two room suite with a hide-away. It also had a kitchenette, and 2 full bathrooms. There was not a pool and the hot tub was out of commission due to the construction which the kids did not like. The continental breakfast was ok. The Embassy Suite North in Anaheim had an excellent continental breakfast and pool and hot tub (both in doors). The room was horrible. I should have called you guys to see if you could help me. We booked a 2 room suite with 2 double beds. The Embassy Suites put us in a 2 room suite with 1 king bed and a hide-away. This was horrible for 3 adults and 3 children. My back and neck still hurt from sleeping on the hide-away. Sea World was a blast. Disneyland was tiring.

Good value for the price.

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet, free parking, easy access to freeway and airport.
This is an older hotel, but it was clean, the rooms were spacious, and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was better than most, but it could have used a microwave. They are going to completely remodel in the coming months. I would stay here again.

This was a great deal for the price!

Pros: Free breakfast
The front desk person when we checked in was terrific! Don't remember his name...but he had a great hat on! He even let my daughter ring the bell a couple extra times! He had great suggestions on where to get a great meal and was super friendly! The breakfast the next morning was a pleasant surpise. We got eggs, saugage, hash browns, cereal, pastries and waffles! The room was really big...with a divider between the bedroom area and the living area. It gave my daughter and us just enough privacy for sleeping or watching tv. Overall, it was a great experience and we will stay there again!

Hotel is right between the san diego zoo and sea world. Nice location & decent place to stay. Rooms have a small kitchen, complete with a microwave, refrigerator, dishes, dish washer, sink, and cabinets. The room is large, and has a fold out bed for our kids. There were two televisions in our room, one LCD, and one older CRT. Within 5 minutes of turning on the CRT, it powered down and we could smell a electrical smoke. After unplugging the television, the staff said they could not replace the unit. WiFI was a bit slow. We tried to watch some netflix since the TV was dead, and the bandwidth wasn't wide enough to really get the stream going. Should be fine for email, or other activities however. There IS a pool nearby, however the staff didn't really point out where it was.
