tv in room 522 almost in the brink of quitting..no walking distance diner..hotel was secure enough with staff walks around patrolling the area..water with lemons and coffees availability throughout the day were a nice touch but nothing really stands out..no early check in for us even after telling the counter personnel that i just drove 8 hours and made us wait until the proper check in time which was 4pm.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was as good as we expected. Parking was a disappointment, especially since you had to pay for parking in addition to your room costs.

Unfortunately, my stay was not as pleasant as I thought it was going to be. At check in the front desk agent, I believe her name is (Lesly) she did not welcome us upon arrival, did not offer us water for being Hilton gold member. Also, she did not explained the hotel amenities until I asked her .. Another thing that I did not understand was the incidental hold of $250 when all other Hilton hotels holds $50 to $75 per stay. Another observation is that the double queen room that we had didn’t have enough bath towels for 4 adults. ( the room just had 2 bath towels). Is the hotel short on linen?? If so the Housekeeping manager should buy more.

Half the lights in our room Didn’t work, the beds were terrible. Clearly they knew the beds were bad cause there was a notice on our door that they would be updating the beds the week after our stay. Too many hidden fees, stay was ok, had to ask for a new down comforter for the pull out bed 4 times before it was delivered. The phone in our room did not work so couldn’t phone the front desk, staff at the front desk couldn’t tell me where the closest convince store was located to the hotel. Hotel is perfectly located in regards to down town. Quick5-10 min drive to where we wanted to go, but the hotel needs work. There was a sign posted on the front of hotel saying change in ownership. Hope they realize they have a great location and put the money into this place to make it great. Clearly something right is going on here cause the place was sold out our whole trip.

Check-in process started off great; however, our room wasn’t ready and we were told that housekeeping was running behind and given a 20 minute wait time. We were ok with that. 30 min later, I approached the counter to check on the progress of our room and was greeted by Shannon. I asked if we would be compensated being that our room was 2 hrs past our check-in time. Her demeanor was unpleasant, unapologetic, and very condescending; she couldn’t be bothered. I made a comment stating, “you’re not very nice are you” she replied “I’m very nice, I’ve never had a complaint,” I guess I’m the first to complain about her. She then proceeded to give me our keys, and sent me through the elevator that would have us walk the entire of the 4th floor to get to our room. This has been the worst experience at a Hilton property. I get it, this is budget but, does the staff need to act budget! Hope her day gets better, and treats guests with respect, after all, she’s a representative of this establishment.

Enjoyed the full kitchen (though no pans available, it's possible they had them to check out but we borrowed from a friend), the happy hour, and the daily breakfast. Really offered a lot for the cost! The kids really loved it and it was close to everywhere we wanted to visit! Would stay again.
