The picture shown and the actual hotel did not look the same. There was little / no privacy. The room was very small, room for the bed alone. We did not stay, we left and went to a Real hotel. Lesson learned for us, unfortunately an expensive one.

Hi Joan, Thank you for visiting. We are a hostel not a hotel. Hostels are not meant to be private but to offer comfortable social areas where travelers can interact and become friends. Our goal is to provide travelers with affordable lodging and shared social events so they can experience the best of San Diego. I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy our beach hostel experience.
