- Please note that this home does not have AC.
- This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- This home is located in a neighborhood with a strict noise ordinance policy and therefore is only suitable for quieter groups. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home, otherwise, if violations occur you may be subject to a fine that can reach up to $10,000.
- Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before check-in. Same-day bookings are not permitted.
- Absolutely no exterior amplified music is allowed. Violations will result in a $500 fine.
- While we do our best to notify guests in advance, unannounced power outages may occur due to unexpected city maintenance.
- No events are allowed unless pre-approved and coordinated through Avantstay. This includes but is not limited to: rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, and social gatherings.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. Our stay was great and near the ceremony we traveled for. This home had plenty of space. We traveled as family of 10 with a group ages ranging from the 70's down to teens.Check in was easy and communication was maintained from prior to check in and all throughout our stay. We would certainly stay here again.

Great facility, awesome location .

Excellent choice for a large family to attend our son's USMC basic training graduation. Grocery store within walking distance. Only negative was the large gaps on second floor balcony railing. Not safe for children. Does not meet current code.

Nice location, decent place, disturbing pricing

I was shocked at the amount listed for cleaning at over $500 which seemed excessive. I left a message about that when I made the reservation, but received no response back. This sent a message to me that they had the money and didn’t want to discuss the level of gouging for cleaning. The place was decent, nice kitchen, and master suite was spacious. Run down laundry with original 1960’s cabinets and no attempt made to improve it, collapsed shelves inside the cabinet. Upstairs living, dining, kitchen area was set up well for a party. Shuffleboard table was a nice touch. Yard area is nice with Corn hole set in the back and nice outdoor patio adjacent to the living spaces. Nice view toward the bay was a pleasant surprise. Location near my Point Loma family was great. HVAC system worked well but was old and loud in the downstairs bedroom.

Rails and window screens are not to code and a child can easily fall through them. Yard had large holes to hurt people as well as nails sticking out of the side turf. The bathrooms needed fixtures repaired or replaced. Shower head was for short people. The large tub is dangerous with broken handles and jets. Kitchen has several cabinets and refrigerator doors need fixed. Once booked all these extra charges came up that were as much as the booking. Ridiculous. Property managers are very responsive to any need we had and got the needed items to us quickly. Furniture in main room is stained and uncomfortable and the dining chairs are almost impossible to move. Felt on shuffleboard table torn and needs work. The view is fabulous. Location is good for walking if you can get down steep driveway. Needs a way to shut off outside lights so people can sleep. Something to separate the trundle area from main would help if child stays there. A curtain or screen.

Had everything needed for a great stay

The house was great with wide open space for the 3 of us and our pups. The view was just amazing, the beds were comfy and the living space was set up with plenty of games including the awesome shuffleboard. We've all become quite the pros at this game. ;) Only minus was the steep driveway. It was a bit hard to pull in with our truck, but we were able to manage.

Awesome Bay View

The absolute best part of this home is the amazing view of San Diego Bay from the dining/living room window. We watched ALL the fireworks from several barges on the 4th of July. This home is listed on several sites with many more reviews. View all comments to educate yourself about the property before renting..

VRBO &AvantStay scammed me, lied about the address of property & refuses to refund me

I reserved this property via VRBO a couple of weeks back. The property showed up as if it was in downtown San Diego, both the pin was placed in downtown San Diego and the description stated it was downtown San Diego. When I landed in San Diego, I took an uber to the address and it ended up being a completely different location ~20 minutes away. This completely ruined me & my friends vacation as we were attending a festival and needed to be walking distance from the venue. We also had several other friends staying in downtown and we weren’t able to hang out with them. I’ve been on the phone with AvantStay & VRBO multiple times in the past few days, staying on hold for >30 minutes at a time. No success. They've shown zero compassion. This sucks, it completely ruined my vacation and the lack of compassion on the side of customer service makes me want to avoid booking VRBO/AvantStay properties for the future. BE WARNED!! VRBO & AvantStay will straight up lie about a listing and offer zero compensation. With awful customer service. Also, the listing itself looks different than described here.
