This lovely, two-bedroom, two-bath, vacation rental home-away-from-home is steps to our beautiful Mission Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The first floor of our charming duplex home in North Mission Beach, San Diego, offering a private fenced yard with peaceful fountain, and a private, bay-view dining area with lighted gas barbecue.
Within a five- to ten-minute walk to a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops, a short drive to Sea World and other local attractions; It's the perfect getaway!

The Space:
You are comfortable in our hideaway regardless of the season. It is light and airy, with ceiling fans in each room and a portable A/C in the living room for warmer days, and a fireplace and central thermostat heating during the cooler days. Granite counters & vanities. Purified water from every tap & to ice maker in fridge.
PLEASE NOTE: The designated parking spot will accommodate one SMALL, COMPACT car.

* Master bedroom with queen-size bed, TV and private en-suite full bath
* Second bedroom with queen-size bed.
* Airbed available in living room for 5th person or they can sleep on the couch
* Separate full bath with tub/shower.
* Fully-equipped kitchen for casual or gourmet cooking. Gas oven/stove, toaster oven, crock pot, blender, etc. Granite counters and an island with bar stools adjacent to indoor eating area.
* Separate inside eating area seating four comfortably, also with fireplace view.
* Smart TV in the living room with Roku
* Comfortable Leather Loveseat and Recliner Lounge near fireplace.
* WiFi High Speed Internet Access.
* Beach 'toys' including bicycles, chairs, etc., and a library of videos, books, puzzles, and games.
* Tandem Kayak with life vests available on request.

GENERAL POLICIES:
* A maximum of five individuals is allowed.
* No smoking is allowed inside the rental. Front Garden Picnic Table available for smoking.

Guest Access:
You have access to the complete first floor area, including the apartment, gated front yard, private dining area with natural gas BBQ, side gated entrance where 2-man kayak and beach toys are stored, rear alley locked storage area where life preservers, bikes, tools, air pump, cooler, and other beach items are stored, including a 4-wheeled dolly for transporting the kayak to the beach.
Parking is available for a SMALL vehicle on the west side of the home.
Please replace the neighbor’s trash barrels on the property line after parking.

The Neighborhood:
Mission Beach is the perfect beach getaway. This house is nestled in a quiet neighborhood just 50 steps from the bay and two short blocks from the ocean. Coffee shops, shopping (including groceries), playgrounds, Belmont Park activities, casual and fine dining and countless beach activities are all within walking distance.

We are local hosts that live nearby if you need anything during your stay. Property owner is upstairs at 809 Vanitie Ct. and may be available for urgent matters. He can be contacted by ringing doorbell intercom.

Getting Around:
If parking on the west side of the home is too narrow, parking is available on Mission Blvd; however please pay close attention to parking signs. Street sweeping signs require no parking between 8:00 - 10:00 AM on Monday & Thursday on the West side, and on Tuesday & Friday on the East side of Mission Blvd.

Other Things to Note:
We're just a few blocks away from the local Ralph's Supermarket where you can stock up for your stay. Central to all restaurants, bars, and things to do in Mission Beach or Pacific Beach.

The unit is approximately 800 sq ft.

We were visiting the area to pick up our adult kids from their local colleges. The spot was as advertised and very welcoming! We enjoyed it very much! As a past San Diego beach resident I felt it was just right to be a lovely VRBO! Highly recommend!

We were in San Diego for a funeral and cooked a few dishes in the home. Kitchen was well stocked which was a huge plus! Location was perfect as well. Parking was to the side of the home and very tight even for a small car. The home itself needed some TLC especially the bathroom. Overall we enjoyed our time there and would consider staying again!

Best location and ALLLLLL the toys!

Great little apartment in the BEST location! I lived in Pacific Beach many years ago and it was so much fun bringing my kids (18,15,10) to my old stomping grounds. Literally a 30 second walk to bay or 90 seconds to the ocean. The provided toys were a HUGE bonus: 4 bikes, several boogie boards - didnt get to use the paddle board or kayak though, mostly bcz we just didnt have the time!. Great quality sheets and there were plenty of washing machine and dishwasher pods for us to use - there were even extra Keurig pods! The one suggestion I have to to put the address oj the back of the building as well - it took us several minutes to digure out where to go because the entrance is on a walkwal but younpark out back. Also. The parking spot is TINY. My Nissan Rogue fit but barely. FANTASTIC restaruants all over the place and great bars with happy hoirs.

Great condo/apt! 2 bedrooms, comfy beds. 2 bathrooms. Nice kitchen... Stocked with basics. Super close to both bay & ocean. Excellent communication with owner. Pet friendly. Parking space... Super small, but if your car is small... YAY!! (Parking in this area is at a premium!) nice patio. We will return!!

Beach very near

Enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable which I need. Small AC made livingroom very comfortable, but I was glad we brought fans to circulate the air. The couch to sleep on in the livingroom was a love seat. My 13 year old granddaughter slept great. The unit was clean but kept finding little items left by previous occupants, like socks and a finger nail file. Kitchen was great for our needs. A very short walk to the beach in a nice area. There was one parking place as described but the parking place was only suitable for a smaller vehicle. We had to park our mid-size SUV on the street.

Perfect place to access Mission Bay and Beach

Nice little two bedroom condominium right in the action of Mission Bay and Beach. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and access to a washer and dryer. You need to have a very small car to access the on-sute parking. Overall, would stay again as hosts were receptive to all our needs.

Cute Casita Steps From The Bay

Cute lil casita steps from the bay and about 1 min from the beach. Location is 10/10. The bay is across the both and the beach is one crosswalk away. 5 min walk to yummy food, Rosemaries is a must for hamburgers and amazing service! Every question we had was answered quickly by the company and owner. Thank you!

Great property and location

This property was perfect for our trip. Location is great and is situated right between the bay and the beach, less than a minute walk to either side. The home is spacious and comfortable. We also enjoyed the small patio area ourside the property for dinners. Will definitely be back.
