Welcome to the oceanfront condo you've always wanted to rent! If you've ever walked on the beach and wondered what it would be like to vacation in the condos you pass by, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom home is a dream come true. This property enjoys a central location in the heart of Mission Beach, only a quick walk from beach shops, restaurants, and the small Belmont Park amusement park.

This multi-level condo has everything you need for a blissful escape to San Diego. Step through the door to be greeted by an open-concept living area with ocean views through large glass doors at the end of the room. It's a prime spot for making the most out of your stay, with a cozy sectional, a two-seat table, a flatscreen TV, and doors that open to an oceanfront patio with its outdoor sectional, chairs, and shared grill and firepit. The full kitchen, offering stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar for four, is just steps from the patio as well, meaning you can easily make snacks and cocktails for afternoons spent lounging outside in the sunshine.

The first bedroom has a queen bed, a twin-over-twin bunk bed, a mounted flatscreen TV, and access to a full bathroom with a shower down the hall. The primary bedroom is on the upper level, offering a queen bed, a flatscreen TV, and a bathroom just outside the room. From here you can also access the upper-level sundeck, where you can stretch out on the daybed for a little outdoor relaxation right at home. Other amenities include a private washer/dryer, free WiFi, and satellite cable.

This condo is located directly off the beach and boardwalk in North Mission Beach, about a third of a mile north of Belmont Park. Mission Beach is San Diego's lively take on the classic beach town, with over five miles of waterfront boardwalk, shops, restaurants, and Belmont Park's miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, and arcade. You'll be just a few minutes from SeaWorld and an easy drive from the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, San Diego International Airport, and downtown San Diego as well. Book your stay today!

The only thing we can figure is that the photos of this property were taken a long, long time ago! Upon check-in, the door code given did not work. We were able to call their after-hours line and received the code within 30 minutes. The next day however, we were locked out again....had to call a second time for a new door code. The door locks, but is extremely loose...it seemed one good kick or shove and it'd be open. The unit was not clean...there are food splatters on the ceiling, dirty handprints on the light switches, hairs on the towels, dirty pillow covers on the couch, dust and fingerprints on the stand, mold in various locations throughout the unit, anything and everything you could imagine. And literally everything was broken! One of the outdoor patio chairs, dresser in the main bedroom, bed in the main bedroom, mattresses are extremely depressed, broken cabinets in the kitchen, "replace filter" alert on the fridge...again, you name it, it was broken or not working! We decided to end our trip after the second day of being locked out and living in filth. The one upside is the beach access...it was the ONLY thing as pictured with this rental. We did request a refund for the three nights we did not stay, to which the manager responded that they would open the dates back up and refund us for any dates that were re-booked. They did apologize that the unit didn't meet our standards and indicated that it was normal "wear and tear"....sorry...this is NOT the case!

Awesome rental in perfect location right on beach. VRBO and host issues however
 Pros:- Clean, welcoming rental with nice touches and great water pressure in the shower! Walk in tiled shower (a plus over the plastic ones). Comfy beds, close to Belmont park. Lovely outdoor furniture that has been well taken care of. All the things you need in the kitchen. Dedicated parking spot (if you want a car. We walk to what we need and do grocery delivery). We come to Mission Beach every year and this was our first time at this rental. Overall a wonderful place, highly recommend the walk out ocean front (kids elderly parents win)Cons: - If you are used to the “client first” approach of others like I was, this VRBO/host exchange thing is clunky to say the least. After lots of research we chose this rental and agreed to the terms outlined in VRBO. Then we got a separate rental agreement from San Diego Vacation rentals that had different terms and a different price. We went around and around with them and they refused to update their contract to match what we had agreed to in their listing on VRBO. Reached out to VRBO who agreed were right, but only option is to cancel and find a different place. I don’t want a different place just the terms I agreed to. Ultimately we signed. Disappointing. Upon arrival check in time is 3pm. Standing outside at 2:50pm with luggage in the heat, unit is ready, but no option to check in before 3. Code unlocks at 3 on the dot, not one second sooner.

House was very dusty, everything in the kitchen was not properly cleaned.no sponge to wash dishes. Family of four staying for 6 days and only 4 bathroom towels provided. Our car was broken into, contacted property manager to confirm if there’s camera footage, still haven’t heard anything back. Besides that, the beach was wonderful
