Resort needs to crack down on # of people per beach front bungalow. On both sides of us bungalows were rented by 2-4 people, then they had parties with 20-30 people all day and night. Property trashed and had other bungalow guests on our deck and grass area the whole weekend. For the price in the summer, one could rent a bayside beach house and have way more privacy and not giant parties next to you.

I absolutely love the Hawaiian resort feeling the outside area gives away, as well as the proximity to the beach. I would rate it 10+. The staff was very quick to respond and always friendly and cooperative. The rooms, however, are quite dated. The beds are very uncomfortable, the linen is dated, and made us sweat at night. The table in the room barely fit one small coffee machine. Whoever installed the faucet 3 inches away from the sink should come back and try washing hands without getting the entire area wet… good luck. While the breakfast and lunch offerings were decent on the property, the dinner choices could definitely be improved. Given that there aren’t a lot of food places too close to the property, there should be more food choices on the property itself, IMO.

My husband tried to check in for me because of my difficulty with walking. The receptionist asked for my ID and credit card. Then she told my husband I had to be present because reservation was under my name. This was of course my husband asked her what he needed to check in under my name!! My husband told the receptionist she should have said that from the beginning. Resort is definitely NOT luxurious as it was advertised. Place needs a face lift- very old and dated structures with paint peeling off walls, road is not paved smoothly. Best part was the beach that was perfect for my little grandchildren.

First visit, great location!

Beautiful property and convenient location for all the mission park activities. Stayed for one night. Room wasn’t ready as expected which was not a big deal but then denied my late check-out request. Wish they would have been more accommodating. Otherwise great hotel. All rooms are bungalows with a designated parking space. Room was clean & spacious. Bed was comfortable.

Our family had a great stay, but for the nightly price, the resort was disappointing in terms of overall upkeep of the resort. The rooms were fairly small, will small shared patio space with neighbors next to us. Beach area was ok but not well maintained/garbage from other guests remained. Mini golf course could use some serious attention, very worn and area not taken well care of - garbage on the ground daily. There were multiple plants and trees that were just outright dead and should be removed. We loved the pool, but again... the area could use some attention by staff. Picking up unused towels, removing garbage and food from the side walks/floor. Great location to go explore other areas of San Diego.

This place always delivers!!!! We stayed in a Bayside Bungalow Suite with a nice patio facing the Bay. The staff and the accommodations were amazing. Just minutes away from the Mission Beach Boardwalk and Sea World. Several Restaurants on site and a ton of thing for the kids to do.
