I feel failed by both parties, construction was going on at the hotel and it wasn’t stated by either. The pool and gym were both closed. Would have not stayed there if that was disclosed prior to booking.

The property is currently undergoing renovation. The room was well-maintained and clean. The staff provided excellent service, and the check-in process was efficient. I particularly appreciate the secure gated parking, which ensured the safety of my vehicle.

had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and check-in was quick and easy. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made it easy to relax. The overall atmosphere was calm, and the location was very convenient for getting around. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The property itself was very clean, the room was clean, parking was safe, they're still under construction, and renovations. The elevator was working. The only thing that I can say negative is that the walls are not sound proof, there was a man in the room next to mines, yelling all night and slaming things, fighting I couldn't sleep all night. I can compare this hotel with a motel 6. The only difference is their amenities. They also charged me for the room in advance and after I arrived they took $100 more as "deposit ", which supposedly will return to me in 7 days.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Alcadia and couldn’t have asked for more. The renovation is immediately apparent — everything feels fresh, modern, and thoughtfully done. The beds are seriously comfortable. The location is a standout. We were close to everything we wanted to explore, which made the whole trip effortless. Great value, great vibe. We’ll definitely be back.​​​​​​​​​​

The hotel was being renovated while we stayed there so I hope that it gets updated nicely. The rooms are a bit outdated. The door in my bathroom was broken. But it was a convenient location to get around to all the sight seeing places in San Diego.
