Avis pour The California II - Mission Hills Hideaway
The location was a perfect distance from every tourist attraction. Itâs a beautiful duplex and is very spacious. The host is very timely with responses and very helpful.
Lovely home. Check in and out was simple and straight forward. Host was extremely communicative throughout and I had clear answers to questions along the way. The view was wonderful, area was quiet. The finishes throughout the home were clean and have a high end feel. The drive up to the house was very steep, and was helpful to go down the street and take the more gradual approach just a few streets down. You could see the ocean and we watched cruise ships and helicopters off in the distance, along with a steady stream of airline takeoffs throughout the day. The cushions on the patio furniture had a scratchy, itchy texture, so we put some towels down before using them. We didn't watch much tv, so not sure how many roku options there were without needing a signin, etc. The window wall was easy to operate, but the door was a little tricky to lock / unlock. Overall would stay here again and recommend to anyone.
Host was very friendly and the house was beautiful
The host was very friendly and the house was beautiful. The host was very accommodating to have us last minute after our other VRBO host cancelled on use 4 days prior to our trip.
The location of this property is amazing. We were planning a family trip to seaworld/mission beach/San Diego zoo and all locations were within 8 mins of the property. The unit is beautiful with modern decor. The kids loved watching the airplanes take off. Overall was great. There were only a couple cons to this unit.
This unit is on the bottom level and you can hear everyone walking around upstairs. The upstairs tendants were just walking nothing crazy and you can hear it all day long. Especially at night when trying to sleep. This happened every night. When we first arrived we had problems with the AC unit but communication was delayed and we finally figured it out on our own. The owner texted us and apologized for the new team that was in charge with communications. The owner is very nice.
Hopefully you donât plan on needing much internet when your there because the signal is weak. They give you the Wi-Fi password but everyone still struggled to get the internet to work and dropped often.
Lastly the master bed is terrible. We didnât sleep well at all. The bed frame has no support and the mattress is way too firm. Overall it was a beautiful place and with some minor changes it could be even better.
